First off dont listen to the reviews that claim that the instructions are difficult, or hard to follow. If you cant assemble this bed I dont know what to tell you
The top critical review about building a box using 2*12s is a good one to follow. I built the box as suggested and fortified with brackets as well. Without it, it would not be sturdy for long, but other than that simple addition its a solid build and the storage capacity of the drawers is sufficient.
It came in 3 different boxes, 2 the first day, one the next. I dont know how some people spent 8 hours building this bed. I built the bed while cooking dinner for my family in about 2/3 hours, I took my time though and did other stuff (kids never leave you alone) in between.
This bed is ideal for a tweens, teens or other single sleepers. This is a value product / no fancy frills, requires some effort during assembly but once assembled, sits solid. If you expect strenuous use for bed (such as a child frequently jumping on it), then find something more sturdy.
My daughter and I put this together in a few hours. Read the directions (important) and they were understandable. So the process was fairly easy. However one drawer does not close all the way on one side. Weve tried things to square it but there is a gap on one side of the drawer about an inch. Everything else is okay. We can live with it. Bed is sturdy but I have no plans to move it around to change its location in room.
Put this together over the better part of the day. Knowing that diy furniture like this tends to shake loose(especially a bed.) I used wood glue and thread locker on all the screws/fasteners. If you plan on putting this together by yourself youll want an extra pair of hands but its not impossible on your own. Given what it is its sturdy enough for two people under 400lbs together plus a mattress. It doesnt creek or wobble but I wouldnt recommend jumping into bed. The finished edges are nice but the compressed board is rough underneath so be careful not to get your foot stuck under it. You will want to stick some felt pads on all the contact points if you have hard floors. This will keep them from scratching and keep the particle board in one piece. And you will definitely want to lay some heavy fabric between the unfinished slats and your mattress to keep it from being torn by splinters. The six drawers are what sold us on this frame. They allow us to move a large dresser out of the bedroom and keep the storage capacity. If you have any experience with ikea furniture youll have no trouble, just go slowly and read carefully.

bbq 6212 k tall 12 drawer bedframe
Bought this bed frame in may 2019. Absolutely love it so far. Took my husband 1 1/2 to 2 hrs to put together. Pretty sturdy. Love the storage.
For the price, not bad.

The storage drawers are great!
It took about an hour and a/half to build, and we love the storage. For the price, its worth it.
Good item for smaller spaces with additional needed storage
Slight movement in the base with movement in the bed. Seems sturdy otherwise. Good storage option.
Love it!
Just moved to a smaller place need a new bed with storage. Cute, sturdy and saves space
