I love this couch. It looks nice and was super easy to assemble. It is the perfect size for a small apartment. It is not the most comfortable couch but not bad for the price and size!
I am SO happy with this purchase so far. At less than 300, you really cant beat the price, especially because most couches start at 600+. Disclaimer before I get into the meat of my review: I live in a studio apartment in Chicago, so I was looking for an affordable, good/looking yet small couch for my space.
SIZE: The light couch is perfect for my small space. I would say you can fit two, adult men comfortably, three people max on this couch. Im 58 and my feet barely hang over the end of the chaise when Im sitting up (obviously they hang over when I slouch).
COMFORT: I saw some reviews that the couch was stiff, but after two weeks, I beg to differ. Sure, youre not going to sink in once you sit, but theres a lot of cushion (and I definitely dont feel like Im sitting on a rock or something.) The cushions are vacuum/sealed, so it takes about two days for them to become fully fluffed. I work from home and sit on my chaise for most of the day, I love it.
SET UP: This comes in two large boxes. They take two people to carry, but I was able to push them up to my apartment by myself. Set up took 30/45 minutes. I would say the hardest part was locking the back rests into the base. Overall, wasnt too terrible.
CONSENSUS: This couch was exactly what I wanted. It makes my apartment feel so homey and cozy. And like I said, you cant beat this price point. Overall, Im satisfied (and then some)
It was easy to assemble. Like a puzzle. We did not have odors from the cushions as others have reviewed and described! It is very small. It delivered fast in 2 days! It will suffice our objective having a sofa and not spending a lot on it. Biggest objection is the color. It is described as a charcoal however in any light it looks like or navy except in photos it looks ! We are in an apartment for 6 months and plan to sell or donate when we move. Otherwise we would return because of the color
Easy to assemble, sturdy and also stiff but can see in a few months becoming mor comfortable. Delivered quickly and looks great! Good buy for the price!
This was easy to get upstairs to my 2nd story narrow stairway with 29 doorways in its two boxes. It was very, very easy to put together for me solo, when I have no experience in such things or strength at all. I used the youtube video, it helped /but really wasnt even necessary for assembly. It is about as comfortable as you would imagine for a couch of this price / but I do have to tell people not to plop on it when they go to sit as I dont entirely trust its stability. My 14 year old 6 ft tall nephew slept on it and said he was actually pretty comfy.
Here is my big issue. I ordered , I got blue. Absolutely blue. They could have called it heather I guess? But I definitely wanted and got shipped blue. In order to return it you have to send it back in the same box. Which is pretty near impossible. So Im keeping what I have and making it work. But still disappointing and very likely another person wouldnt be as patient as I am being with getting the wrong color couch.
UPDATE / I am about to sell it after owning it for as long as I have. I have to say I have been pleased with it for the entire of my owning it. Using it often daily. Still cushy and comfy. Ive even passed out on it a few times in the last week or so. Highly recommend.
Very happy with this for the price. My only complaint with comfort level is the short back, so no leaning into cushions. Otherwise it is a good/looking, comfy couch to sit on and fit neatly into our space. I will also say that the color looks way more BLUE/.
