I liked the aesthetic of this chair, and ordered 2 of the cream-colored ones for our living room. They arrived early and each chair is delivered in 2 different boxes, so we got a total of 4 boxes. The first thing we noticed out of the box that one set of brackets that attach the arms to the chair were missing. What other reviewers have said about being a pain to assemble is true - do not attempt it alone, it is a 2 person job. So 3 hours and plenty of cussing later, we were finally ready to attach the arms and discovered that the pair of brackets we received were not even the right size for the chair. Currently I am waiting for the manufacturer to honor my request for 2 pairs of brackets so we can use the chairs without the arms falling off every time we get out of the chairs (the arms are L-shaped and slide down the side of the chair so they still look good, they just aren't anchored down). Aside from that they are comfortable and stylish. If it helps anyone, my partner is 6'1 250 lbs and the chair is a little short for him but it works and he sits in them anyway.
Personal use, very comfortable - only issue I had was with attaching the arms, unable to secure with the second screw. After several attempts I used only single screw on both arms, and decided that it was doable and happy with the purchase
I am a big person. A good 225 lbs. Chairs like these usually last maybe a year before they give up. This one is comfortable and quite sturdy. Best buy at this price point imo.
Once I noticed the instructions wrapped with the seat back, assembly was a piece of cake. Chair has good support almost on a stressless Scandinavian chair I had previously for a lot less money. Despite a slight snafu with tracking info, very happy with this purchase. Would consider again in the future.
I received this chair in 2 shipments over 2 days, and started putting it together shortly after the second box arrived (that was the one with instructions). I am a 79 year old woman with some arthritis and I was able to get it together by myself in under 3 hours. The instructions leave a lot to be desired! But I followed the pictures and am proud to say I did it! It is just the chair I was looking for my bedroom. I had a similar one years ago and loved it. This one is proving to be quite like the old one. It is a little stiff, but I assume it just needs to be broken in. Other than the instructions, especially the arm installation, it was well packed and promptly shipped. I recommend it to anyone looking for a smaller recliner.
Arms are a little low for a tall guy and the back angle knobs to adjust the back take an uncomfortable amount of tightening to keep back adjusted for comfort. Still a good value
I purchased two of these chairs. They arrived quickly. They were very simple to assemble. Don't forget that the legs may be hidden away underneath the chair in a zippered compartment. They look beautiful and I get tons of compliments on them. They do feel firm when you sit in them, but I'd rather have that than something so mushy and plush. Excellent buy so far!
