Maybe Im just not aware of how expensive furniture normally is. But this seems overpriced for the quality you get. Its sturdy and decently made for sure, but there are a few scuffs and small factory paint errors, and it definitely has a smell. (the smell will dissipate after a day or two though.) The thing that feels cheapest and drives me the most crazy is the drawer doesnt pull smoothly at all! Theres no round metal rollies for the drawer to roll out smoothly on. The wood slats of the drawer just rests directly on plastic runners made for it. The feeling of pulling out wood sliding against plastic is not pleasant and makes the product feel so cheap. Other than that though its completely functional, the doors of the cupboard dont have the same problem, they come with real hinges. And it was decently easy to put together, took a little longer than I wanted but it was simple and straight forward.
The pictures on this are a little bit misleading. I bought this piece to display some china in the glass compartments and use the middle section for storage of some other kitchen gadgets. This piece doesnt even hold a plate lying down. The sections are too small. If you want to stand a plate up, it might work, but if you want to stack a few things--not gonna happen. The cabinet is cute and is pretty easy to put together, though easier with two people as instructions indicate. It does have an odor that lingers for a week or two - leaving the doors open for a few days will help with the smell. Overall, a decent piece, but doesnt function for what I wanted it to do. Basically useless for me.
We ordered two and when they were delivered the boxes were so busted and beat up that we took pictures expecting to have to return or exchange them due to damage but once we unpacked all the parts everything was whole and it was a fairly easy assembly. We got two and used them as faux built-ins on either side of our fireplace and they look great. Well see how well they hold up, they do seem a little flimsy but are otherwise good.
Honestly, I ordered this thinking it might be a bad experience. It wasnt. Was pretty decent to put together, the most difficult part were the doors. I used Wood Glue with every Wood Screw to ensure maximum sturdiness and strength. Overall, wasnt too bad. Ive had easier builds, and Ive had much more difficult builds. This wasnt the worst by any means. My recommendation would be to take your time, use Wood Glue with the Wood Screws (brown screws), and dont rush it. Turned out fine for me.

I love this thing! I put it together by myself in an hour or so with no issue It greatly increases my storage space in my bathroom.
Finish scuffed up
While it is a beautiful, sturdy piece, there are too many scuffs where the finish isnt quite right, especially on edges/corners.

Really nice, stinks but smell went away. Really pretty. Smaller than you think but its super nice.
