So I bought this to put in our mud room to put the cats litter box in. My husband cut a hole in the side for a door and cut holes in the back for air and light. Its super cute. It did have an odor that has went away. Now I have cat feeding station on top and the litter box is tucked away.
Most of the reviews reported a horrible odor / mine had none. Reviews talked about chips, dings, imperfections / mine had none. I did feel the hanging bolt were too small, but I had some larger ones and used them instead. This shipping packaging was by far THE VERY BEST I HAVE EVER HAD DELIVERED! Thick box with lift off lid, all sides, top and bottom lined with 1/4 foam board, each piece had foam sheets between them, if there was a void it had foam blocks inserted / it was as if a TETRIS Pro had packed the box.
Because I tend to be overly cautious, I read the instructions completely, unpacked the box and checked off each part and quantity in the manual as I removed it from the box. EVERY piece was labled and received.
Took one hour to assemble by myself (plus 30 mins extra described below). Very easy to assemble, great instructions and very sturdy.
The only complaint I have is one of the hinges was1/4 set back too far. I had to measure, verify it matched up to correct hinge (twice due to previously mentioned over cautious tendencies), drill holes and fill all holes with glue / added 1/2 hour to assembly process. This did not change my opinion about the caninet, which is now hanging over the guest toilet.
I bought this cabinet for my bathroom. It does not have a linen cabinet so I bought this to hold towels. Im big on buying old pieces and revamping them, and this will work nicely until I find a vintage piece. The top is nice, plenty of room inside, and the two drawers will work great for odds and ends. It doesnt look expensive, looks like what it is / flat pack, inexpensive , etc. But it will work well for what I need it for.

Beautiful but a bit challenging
The finished product is beautiful. It was a little difficult to put together, but it was definitely worth it.
