I am an adult woman, 5 9 and 140 lbs. I got the full sized loft bed to create more storage space in my bedroom. Please ignore how messy my room is, im still moving into my new apartment.
The bed itself is very sturdy, Ive slept on it for a week with no worries about it breaking. I left off the ladder and instead bought a shoe bench to act as a step stool into the bed. Growing up with bunk beds as a kid, I hated ladders and climbing off the top bunk without my glasses in the dark. The bench works a lot better for me.
While building, I thought about leaving off the railings but I decided to keep them anyways. Im glad I did though, the mattress is almost flush with the railing. If I hadnt gotten the full sized loft, I would worry about rolling off.
The height of the bed is nice, my apartment has low ceilings so I was worried about me being too tall. I can sit upright underneath the bed and on top very comfortably.
Most importantly, my cat loves it. She wont get down, and just sleeps all day on the bed. I work hard to give my cat a good life, and this bed is ultimately for her 3
I would recommend it, but maybe implement more safety features if your getting this for your kid.
EDIT: Sleeping on this with my girlfriend, another adult woman, the bed still held up very well. I had no fear about it breaking while sleeping on it. I would definitely recommend!
Got it on 3/5/22 color black. Great price! Easy to assemble with 2 people only took us about 1hour and 20mins. Even tho I thought it would be a few inches taller. My son is 4 and half and is 46inch tall and weight 45pounds. He has alot of leg and rollover room. Now I did do some changes such as 1. took out the bottom bar for the back of loft area because it was in my way lol (bed is still standing) 2. I didnt have a twin mattress (lol too expensive do Im working on getting one later) So I got a twin Air mattress (for 13 at target Intex)and its holding up great, downsize small gap between the mattress which I stuff a body pillow in and throw fitted sheet right on top!! Boom.
Side note :As long as there are not sharp objects in the bed your GOOD!! HOPE this info helps someone! Only the blue curtains is a sheet stuff under mattress lol and Christmas lights and the bean bag is Big Joe from Walmart with stuff old clothes inside because can afford more beans lol
My grandson loves his loft bed and also plays underneath with his toys.
Great set up for a small room. It took about 1 hour for my son and grandson to assemble.
I got it on sale and its worth every penney.
Definitely makes a difference and gives me extra space that I needed! Forewarning, the locking clips can be a little hard to pop in place and you might pinch your finger! I did and it wasnt pleasant, it bled! Other than that, not too hard to assemble! Well worth it!!
Directions are pretty straight forward. Bed is sturdy. We didnt listen to the advice from other reviews so we learned the hard way not to completely tighten screws until the end!
My daughter loves this bed. Its not as tall as I thought it was going to be but that made me less worried about her rolling off. Easy to assemble and the instructions were easy to follow.
