We ordered this bed for our son since he was getting too big for his toddler bed. He was so excited when the box came in ahead of the scheduled time (it was at the door at 8 am, but scheduled to arrive at 10 pm)! My husband and I used a drill, you definitely need a drill, and we got it all put together in about an hour. I had read reviews saying how it was difficult to put together, but we had no issues and all of the pieces were in pristine condition. The bed is super sturdy and looks awesome. Great item for the price and my son is beyond excited!!
I was worried about how high it would be for my 2 year old. Very low as it says low loft. Took me 8 hrs to assemble by myself as a woman. I enjoyed the easy to read instructions and pictures and the labeling of the parts! Looks aming and fun! Still waiting on the mattress and a small box spring because the wood slats it comes with are not sturdy, I can tell already, they also were not long enough and some of the nails just werent able to be nailed into the wood frame securely because they werent long enough, which is probably why some reviewers mentioned the wood slats breaking. That is my concern also as I havent used this bed yet but did buy a twin pallet to lay on top of the wood slats in hopes of giving the wood slats more of a sturdy foundation so they dont break. I also couldnt find a 4inch mattress for this bed, which would have been ideal to ensure that the mattress isnt too high. But I have to wait for the mattress to arrive to see the end product of mattress plus bed. Also, there was a piece of wood that was chipped and looked painted over. Since the bed looks nice overall, Ill still give it perfect review. Lastly, some of the paint couldve been coated thicker as I can see the brown wood underneath paint on the ladder which seems to not have been coated well. Nonetheless, still looks great overall. My son hasnt used this bed yet so hopefully the reviews stay the same after he uses it.

It would definitely be best to have two people to put the bed together. It is very sturdy. I had one of the two support beams break within a week of putting it together from being warped. I contacted customer service and they quickly responded, gathered the needed information by a couple of emails and quickly got the replacement part sent. They were very kind, considerate and understanding. I would definitely recommend this bed and have no hesitation contacting customer service if you have any issues.
Its not that hard to assemble . It a bunch of pieces abs took a free hours but Ive had worse experiences. My only issue is that it has gotten very unstable after only about 2 months. My son is only 50lbs so I know its not that hes worn it out so quickly. Its kind of upsetting because I feel like Ill be buying a new bed by next year when we just got this one

Exactly what it looks like
The wood feels sturdy enough for my teen boy. He enjoys the office space underneath for studying and gaming. Pretty good purchase.
