Beautiful sturdy umbrella BUT arrived with two holes in the material over the air vent. The box and inside packaging were not damaged. Poor quality control. At this price it should not have holes!!
It took 1/2 hour to fully assemble INCLUDING filling the stand with water. Have received numerous compliments from our guests who are planning to purchase one for themselves! It is VERY easy to operate and direct according to the suns rays. Also, easy to open and close and @ 56 I can put the cover (included) on/off most times w/o a step stool. We have had light winds with no problem swaying. I purchased the lime green/11 with a woodgrain metal. LOVE THE LOOK.
We live a block from the ocean and half a block from the bay, so we get a lot of wind. I bought this and an 11 foot umbrella to use by the pool. I also purchased a 34 by 34 water/sand base for each (I reviewed these on , there are minor issues with these). I filled the bases with water, not sand. The assembly of the umbrellas is intuitive, but it is a good idea to review the instructions first. These umbrellas are big so they catch every breeze that comes along // the 34x34 bases are essential unless you live somewhere with practically no wind. While they sway in a moderate breeze, they hold. Due to the size, they get a little scary in higher winds // we simply unwind the umbrellas in such cases. My guess is that we could find sturdier umbrellas and bases, but would probably pay at least twice the price. I would definitely recommend these umbrellas. We are very pleased with our purchase.
Likes: Well engineered, sturdy, especially the arm ends where they attach to the fabric. Heavy nylon strap sewn into the fabric, with screws through that and into heavy plastic/nylon tips. Works perfectly. Hard to find 9 X . Worked perfectly for me.
Dislikes: Nothing really. A few loose thread ends to snip, easy. No instructions in my repack box, (shame on ). But it was easy to figure out and saved me 50. No base included. I didnt. Need one so that was perfect.
I installed on the west end of our wood deck to cantilever down to block the late afternoon sun. Perfect! Super value, really.

Got the 10 square and it was too big so I returned it and bought the 9 square and it was perfect! Absolutely easy to put together; very well packed and secured in the box. Whats great is that this cantilever umbrella is two tiered which lets the desert wind whip through it without interruption and it looks beautiful. The frame is also very sturdy and maneuvers very well. This was a perfect fit for my deck and the flexibility to spin it around and use it on the upper deck in the evenings is ideal. I did a lot of research before ordering and I am very happy with .
This umbrella is fantastic and affordable! The frame is very sturdy. The fabric is durable. And, most importantly, its so easy to use. The umbrella setup took all of 5 minutes. We saw other, very similar umbrellas for over 1,300 at our local furniture store. That said, this umbrella was very affordable and the quality is downright awesome. Plus, the customer service at is great! When I opened the box, I did not find the crank needed to swivel the umbrella 360 degrees. Within three days of emailing the company, sent me not one / but two / hand cranks at no charge. I strongly recommend this umbrella!!!
We love this umbrella! Easy to open and close and is very nice looking! We have the blue umbrella and just cant say enough good things about it. We get so many compliments. The value is great for the price.

You can spend (much) more but this is a good bang for the buck.
