When you out the sleeper bed part of the chair, it becomes extremely low to the ground. So low anyone with knee issues will find it hard to get up.

I got this chair to put in my loft for reading. Its the greatest chair. So easy to put together, so easy to change from the chair to the recliner. I would highly recommend.. Its awesome....
First, I ordered it 1 day ago and received it by next day evening. It was due to arrive in four days or next week. I purchased it because reviews were happy and I am also very satisfied. 5 minute assembly and only a few bolts for 2 legs and 2 arm rest. No tools needed. The dark grey is perfect and the thick cushion is not flattening or to delicate which is perfect for long term use. It is very long with extra room near head and feet. The legs and arm rest are very well made and sturdy and the width in sitting position, is a good 24 inches in length. It must be about 6 ft long, as a bed. The pillow is an added bonus. Love our new sofa, chair bed, by Gorelax.
Update: I decided to try the bed the first day of arrival and found that within 5 minutes, I started to feel uncomfortable. The cushion needs to be softer to pass as a convertible bed. It is hard and left me with pain all over in the morning. I tossed and turned and could not rest all night. I will now have to buy an additional pillow top, if I can find a size. I dont think , I planned on returning it, so lets see how everyone likes it when it is softer.
This futon ended up being my bed for a year-and it has held fairly well! My heaviest point is basically the sitting edge of the seat, and after a year, that has sagged a little. The rest has held up wonderfully and remains firm and a good seat.

Strong yet flexible!
