Love this bed! As I try to teach my daughter to sleep in her own bed the lower bunk can fit both of us and is safe for her to not fall out of bed and get in and out on her own. We did have one broken piece on arrival and the company was very helpful and sent us out a replacement immediately. Very happy with this purchase!
This took us about 45 min to put together for our daughter, it is so cute and she is absolutely in love with it. Your hand will definitely be hurting from the tool that is included. Overall great purchase!
It says you dont need a power tool but youll want it! The screws were a nightmare to get in by hand. Took me 20+ minutes for one screw. 3 hours later we finally got it setup. Its worth it but just know it takes forever to set it up!
I bought this for my 2nd daughter and its her first big girl bed. I had bought a chinese brand one that is similar for my oldest. The is FAR superior despite being roughly the same cost. The chinese brand is made out cheap steel/framing. The is wood framing. It is much sturdier and heavy. The slats, although not super duty, are plywood, not just cheap solid wood. Setup was an easy 30 minutes following the well/explained instructions. Everything fit beautifully. I love that you only need a twin mattress without the boxspring. Its at a low height which is perfect for a little girl. The pink material is soft and attractive. I would definitely definitely recommend this over similar beds on with names you dont recognize. You can trust Delta.
Im a bit afraid to step on it (as an adult) after reading some of the reviews, but I have actually carefully done so once or twice without cracking any of the slats, so maybe its not that bad. It works just fine for my daughter, and she likes having a princess bed.
It definitely seems inappropriate (stability/wise) to double as an adult nap bed or whatever.
I would have preferred an Ikea bed but it seems there was a shortage at the time.
It does seem to need to off/gas a bit, so plan for that.
My 22 month old Son loves his Bed. Hes sleeping every night in it since we put it up keep he shows everone when they visit his bed I would definitely recommend this bed. Very sturdy well worth the money notes: Make sure your top matress is 6 inches or less in thickness you can buy stickers to cover bolts on the wood and make sure you measure the ceilings bc our top coldidnt fit on ours but it worked out ok we actually used it for a headboard for now for we will be moving bed in a year so we can install the top a later date. It did take 6 hrs to assemble but totally worth it.
