Ive owned the twin on top and full futon on bottom version and that held up well until we have it away. This one is exactly the same. Instructions are simple and easy to understand. Took about 2 hours for me to assemble it while taking my time. The screws and brackets come in separate and labeled packs. They even give you spares in case you need one later. The one thing to keep in mind with the trundle is the height of the mattress you want to use with it. It says 6 inches in the description, but its better to find something like 5 inches. You can use a 6 inch high mattress, but if you want good clearance to put it under the bunk you may have to put something under the legs of the bunk to raise the clearance. This is to take into account any sheets/covers youd be using for that bed. Other than that the bed is good quality for the price and definitely will save you space in a room if you have kids in a limited amount of space.
The boxes arrived in less than desirable conditions, but that is not to take away from the product. All items were labeled well and it was straight forward to follow the instructions. Laying everything out and having all tools needed made putting it together easier. It took about an hour and half and two adults, with minor kid interruptions. We didnt put the trundle together but likes the design that the lower bunk is off the ground.
The product arrived much faster than promised, which worked great for us (we had just finished with a wacky saga with a different seller/ online furniture site that sent us an incomplete product, then
casually told us they sold too many and couldnt fulfill the order, so we should pack it up for pickup/ return). I dont order much stuff online, but I thought we would give this a shot. Everything arrived nicely and even my 7-y.o. daughter could follow most of the instructions. We are possibly missing 1 screw, but could have just been misplaced. It did take many hours, as the directions advised against using power tools. I am considering putting some kind of reinforcement at the end areas of the upper bunks slats, as I just get scared of someones foot slipping through at the end of a mattress ( I still have to buy mattresses, so this may not be an issue at all). All in all, we are very happy with the bed and the whole process.
Made a couple mistakes due to directions not being as clear as I like. Note that this bunk set takes a while to put together. Overall were pretty happy with it. Our 8 year old loves it!
This bunk bed is awesome! The kids (12 ,10 3) and I put it together in a couple of hours. We didnt have trouble reading the instructions although we had to turn some parts around but that was just us not paying attention. As far as after the kids absolutely love it. The only thing they complained about was after a few days the mattresses I bought for it ended up flattening out and you could feel the boards under but thats my fault. The trundle bed was a little confusing and a little difficult so I put that together just took some time. All in all awesome bed we had 5 kids this summer 3-16 yo and they all slept comfortably with no complaints. Great purchase!
One of the questions we had when we purchased the bunk bed, if it could hold the weight of three people, two in the main bed and one person on the top bed. The bed seems to be made of a light wood, and when we completed the build, we did question if it could hold weight.
It does hold the weight!
Everyone that slept on the beds were over 200lbs.
It was not a problem. The top bunk and the trundle both had adults using them. Together, the main bed and the top bunk held up just fine, no problems at all.
Over all, Im impressed. The trundle could use extra wheels for the corners. The wheels can be bought on .

Cute bed for our littles
This is a great bed. Perfect for the little ones room. No issues setting it up. And sturdy enough.
Good value for the price

Not so bad
Looks just like the picture. However, the bed is a little flimsy.
