The bedframe came in a crushed and torn box, and it was badly bent and broken in several places. I tried to fix it enough to put together but then I saw the broken weld. WASTE OF MONEY.
This bed frame didnt hold up for a week. 2 of the Bottom slats have already broke in the first week. Granddaughter had a friend stay over and the bed broke. Theses girls each weighed about 100 lbs.
This bed was pretty easy to assemble. It comes with everything you need including the Allen wrenches but hopefully you have a ratchet set as that makes it much easier. I had it all out together in no time. Well worth the price.
Pretty solid frame but mattress slides easily when getting in or out of bed and can slide off totally if pounding hard.
Be sure to put all screws in very loose at first then when all are put in tighten them up; holes don't line up perfectly.
Very impressed with the sturdiness of this frame. My king size frame came with metal cross pieces. I am a big guy, over 300 lbs, and this frame is very sturdy. Only complaint is how long it took to come, almost 2 months.
There are many good and bad characteristics on most products, I have found that the construction is difficult due to the fact that it is basically a two man job and the tools that they send you to do this job are mediocre. Expect a certain amount of difficulty assembling if you are doing it alone, great for the cost.
