I chose this bed because I love the style, it had a high weight limit (sturdy) and the price was right. It only took a couple days to ship which was great! Took me about an hour to put together and was simple and easy. I'm a fairly handy, young female for reference. I hang curtains and TVs and build furniture by myself. Directions are on a piece of paper with the hardware AND printed on the inside of the box. Came with everything you need to assemble which were the parts and hex key. I was very impressed by how sturdy the frame feels with all the support beams and legs. It's pretty light weight so I can move it around the room if I need to. Great value! Would purchase again.
Bed seems sturdy, and it looks great in my new guest room. I put it together by myself in about 1.5 hours. A helper would have been nice, but it worked. The only thing I don't like about this bed is that you can't see the beautiful spindles when the pillows are on. Even if I lay the pillows down instead of propping them up, the spindles are barely visible. At least the spindles on the foot can be seen. I'm sure I'm the only one who notices this; everyone else thinks it looks great!
The bed is easy to build and it seems sturdy, however, I received my bed defective. It has a bent leg (the bed is metal) and it makes the bed wobble. I tried reaching out to the store and was unsuccessful. Probably not worth the hassle of returning it. If you buy, beware!

If you are using 12-inch or larger mattress, you won't be able to appreciate the design of the headboard part. I wish the decorative bars were higher so they could be seen. But other than that, we like it.
Its really cute and easy to assemble! Does not hold really good. I have had it for 2 months and its bending. Not real sturdy the poles that hold up are very weak. A bed that should only be used for a guest room
