This was the perfect bed for my 6 year old. I was looking for a bed with a higher weight limit since my husband or I often read books with her while snuggling in bed at bedtime and this bed had them. It was easy to assemble and looks great in my daughters's room. We liked it so much that we ordered a second one for my 2 year old.
I just want to start out by saying i really thought this was gonna be a cheapie bed, but it has way exceeded my expectations. it was super easy to assemble with two people. the slats actually drill into the frame and it has a metal support bar in the middle. i bought this for my son 8 year old son and i feel like its perfect for a childs room. im not sure how great it would be for a large/heavy adult, maybe if it was just one adult. it did not ship until the day before it was suppose to get here, but i was truly surprised when it came on time.
Im usually skeptical of purchases on especially if the price is too good to be true but this is a great product! The box it came in was small so I was nervous but it is a great bed! Sturdy, well made, perfect for my kiddo!
I saw this exact same product on wayfair for $200 more - AND on wayfair it wasnt available til August. Love the blue! Its a total pottery barn dupe! Seems really sturdy, but Im not testing getting on the top bunk. I bought some extra cross boards and a larger sub board to add stability (minimal cost). Also - I put this together (by myself) in less than 4 hours!

Oversized bed, sharp edges on foot of bed, great transition bed.
Love the color and due to it being oversized, it will work for transitioning.
