After working from home at our kitchen island I finally caved and got myself a desk, and for $40 I am kicking myself for not getting this sooner!
The small size is great - comfortably fits my laptop and a mug, would even have room for a note pad - without taking up a whole lot of space I dont need. And the hutch-style is really nice for adding an extra monitor ($100 at Best Buy, SO worth it).
The height is a *little* weird if you dont plan on adding a keyboard rack like I did (another purchase) - IMO its a couple inches too high to comfortably rest my wrists and still have my knees bent at 90 degrees. But honestly for the price I was able to customize this with a keyboard tray and extra monitor for less $$ than I would have spent on a bigger/nicer desk.
I was a little skeptical when we were assembling it (which was a BREEZE), because some of the screws seemed awfully short, and one of the panels came with a scuff, but by the time it was assembled I couldnt even find the scuff any more and its held up sturdily for months now.
100% recommend if youre not looking for anything fancy, you cant beat the price. And quality is on-par with , the dark finish does make it look a little less cheap
Its somewhat easy to assemble, how ever the screws to use werent marked on the instructions, so the first couple of steps was a process of elimination, I used to work for a large Swedish furniture retailer (their shops are normally called blue boxes).
Once it was completely together its fairly sturdy, if I built it again, Id probably put a bit of wood glue in when screwing the screws in just to provide a bit more assurance to myself.
I mean you get what you pay for, its £39, we have looked for a while on different sites, its no worse than my former employers furniture () its essentially Particle Board or Chipboard with a veneer on the front facing sides, the rear is exposed particle board, but for £39 it does what I think its intentions are, and once dressed up with some cheap decor it will look really good!
I understand the complaints below, but to be fair if you want a quality desk you are looking at £90-120+.

I love the desk. The only bad part was it came damaged.
Could be a little sturdier.
My husband liked this desk. It is very useful.
FANTASTIC for the price

Scratches
This product isnt very sturdy and arrived with scratches on it.
Decoration
Cute but not sturdy enough for a desk
Great desk
Took a little while to assemble but very high quality product. Sturdy! Purchased for my daughter to use as a desk/vanity in her room.
Yes!
Love, I assembled it myself and since it didnt come in black I painted it myself. Sturdy and holds all my perfume, hair products, makeup, mirror etc.
Finish is low quality, Item does the job its intended and looks great up against a wall.
