This shelf was easy to assemble. Its made of a durable wood-like material. The only drawback is the mounting brackets. The instructions were not so clear for the brackets (had to figure it out on my own).
Had to really pay attention to detail when putting it together. Other than that, I like it so far. I have a game console in it and a few miscellaneous things, but it is still standing.
