I was hesitant to buy this product because of all the bad reviews but I choose to listen to the good reviews and bought 2 beds.
Assembly time with 2 people was 2hrs, we took our time and followed instructions to a T. There was 1 hole that was drilled out of place but other than that Im very pleased with the product. There were some minor scratches on some of the parts but thats to be expected.
I bought this frame almost three years ago and it has survived three moves and a lot of abuse. It really is only meant for one person (Im a small, adult woman living in tight quarters for grad school) but when you need extra space and dont mind a climb up and down for sleeping? Exceptional. Ive never felt unsafe or that it was going to come apart or anything. Putting it together is a little bit of a challenge, even with multiple people, but nothing some patience doesnt fix.
Not enough stars available. This bed saved me at least $400. Both my son and my daughter share a room, we live in New York where rooms arent that spacious. This bed has cleared almost the entire floor for them to play. I bought glow in the dark traction tape for her ladder to give her some grip while she goes up and down. I also purchased some decorative lights. Over all I am extremely happy with my purchase. My son (2 years old) is now asking for a bunk bed.
Loved it so much, we ordered one for our other kid! Easy to assemble. Came with extra pieces. Super sturdy. Took my hubby 2 hours by himself. High quality material. Its worth it.
No issues with either bed. Reviews that say the holes didnt line up- problem there is people tightened the screws to much. As with anything you leave the screws loose and tighten all at the end. Had no problems. Plenty of space for the kids to sit up on the bed. Had both up in same room in 2 hours, and thats with kids helping and dismantling old bunk bed.

Great for space saving. Use in room with high ceiling or no fan.
