Lets be honest, Boston doesnt have the biggest rooms in the world when it comes down to its houses... I used to have a room where half of it was the single bed, and the other half was my desk and work space. Almost suffocating. I needed something that would make my bed bigger, and my room bigger. And I was like... what if I got a lofted double bed... is that even a thing?
I since ordered it, and put it all together with my friends parents help (took the 4 of us to put together... probably cant quite do it quickly just by myself). It is one of the best moves I have made since I have been here. Now I have double floor space, double bed space, and a nice desk to come with it. One year in and it is as sturdy as it was.
One thing I wish was different is probably the depth of the desk. It is very wide, but not deep enough for my liking - I am probably going to add a plank of wood to add some extra workspace... but all in all a great buy, especially for people in smaller rooms with high ceilings.
I bout this bed for my 9 year old son. He love this bed because now he has a desk that doesnt take up space in his small beroom. I was able to put a small table under the bed aswell for the computer so he can use the desk space for his Tv and play station. I was able to store shoe racks as shelving units under the desk were he keeps his books, puzzels and storage container for leggos. This is a great product for the value. It is very stable but for security you should put it in a corner. We also cut noodles for the stairs because they do hurt your feet.
Delivered on time. Pretty easy to put together but definitely a two person job though. Large dent in one of the ladder pieces but not bad enough that I considered sending it back. The mattress I ordered did not show up on time so my son has not had a chance to sleep in it yet but all around a great bed frame. Perfect for a building station below.
Great overall. Adds a lot of style and space to my room. The only two complaints I have is that the ladder is kinda harsh to step on. And yes, the bed is noticeably wobbly when you climb up or move around.
Easy to put together, with my husband took less than an hour and a half. No snags, instructions are easy to follow.
The box came extremely late and was very damaged, cardboard was ripped open in several places. There was only a few small scuff marks on one pole, not enough to worry about so I blame it on the postal service.
The sturdiness of the bed is questionable compared to the other bed that I own. I also have a twin loft with an X shaped frame. It is extremely sturdy and never shakes at all even when I climb it (170 lbs.) Since this one is a full size and has a square corner frame I understand that it would not be quite as solid, but I was hoping for a little better. It bangs on the wall then my 7 yer old climbs it. We carefully tightened the bolts during assembly and we used all the plastic pieces in the correct spots, but I will go back through and retighten today and see if that helps.
Also the ladder is metal, of course it hurts to climb, so I will be adding padding to it today.
Love this design, this is a total space saver in my kids room. It is a well made product and I will continue to buy from in the future.
i just unboxed my bed and im already dissatisfied. the bolts you see on the left, according to the instructions im supposed to have 25 of those, theres only 8. i have about 27 bolts of which i would only need 3 of. the box that contained the bolts was torn and most bolts were spilled out. i havent even unwrapped the bed parts yet.
UPDATE: so apparently the instruction manual on does not match the manual in the box. my bed came out perfect, its not nearly as wobbly as some reviews say (i weigh 135lbs). i has all of the parts i needed.
It was easy to assemble, I did it pretty much myself with a little help from my daughter to hold something up while I screw, but I was surprised it was so easy. Its a nice bed, wobbly of course but sturdy
This bed frame is PERFECT! Please ignore the awkward photos. Just a heads up for any silly gals (like myself) a queen bed will not fit a full size loft frame. I should have known better. New mattress is now on the way. Anywho, the loft was very simple to put together, even for me lol.. Im happy I went with this purchase!
The instructions were very clear! Everything was labeled properly and easy to assemble. Took about 3-4 hours with an adult and child taking time to get it done!

Perfect bed for small rooms
My kids love this bed. It makes so much space to store stuff with having a small bedroom. My kids are still able to have a place to play and sleep.

Wobbly but still safe if you keep within the weight limit

Finally arrived and Im liking it
It was easy to assemble, I did it pretty much myself with a little help from my daughter to hold something up while I screw, but I was surprised it was so easy. Its a nice bed, wobbly of course but sturdy
