Got this as an accent chair for the bedroom, so its not going to be used all that much. It looks just as nice as in the picture, and its actually quite comfortable if you do want to relax in it, which I do occasionally.
However, putting it together was strange and tricky. Maybe its just meI did it by myself which was awkward, trying to get everything lined up, screwed in tight, while holding the pieces together simultaneously. If you have someone to help you do itit would be better, but yes you can assemble it by yourself. It also doesnt feel all that sturdy when you sit on it.again, it could just be my assembly, but its okay when I relax in it, but I wouldnt trust a lot of weight leaning on the back of it, but for my purposes, this is fine.
If you are looking for more of an accent piece, this is a great value and a lovely chair, I dont regret my purchase at all. But if youre putting this in a living area, where its going to get some heavy use.I might think twice about it. My two cents.

I had to take out screws and drill new holes to get things lined up. It was a huge pain. In the end, I was happy with everything but it took a lot of extra work and tools.
