Seems to be good quality, my son loves it. If I was to have only one complaint it would be that the ladder and slides are not interchangeable. I would like to swap the slide and ladder location to better utilize room layout.
The slide broke on the first week, I contact the seller and they replaced right away! I have the bed for more than 3 months, the kids love it, and I do too! I recommend!!
We love this twin bed. Very strudy, made from wood- not just particle board. This is a very nice bed, especially at this pricepoint. My concerns were which size mattress to go with. I went for the 6 and im glad I did (but will totally work with a 8 or 9 as well) for me I like having he extra couple inches railing exposed because my little guy isn't even 3 yet (next month) and my other concerns was would I be able to use a memory foam without a bunkie board and the answer is yes. We don't have any extra support and we haven't had anything break, even with my toddler jumping on the bed. (Not yet anyway) This bed was one of the easiest pieces of furniture I've assembled and directions were clear. So all in all we were highly impressed with this bed.
My child loves the bed and is easy to get in and out of the bed. Plenty of place space underneath. The bed took a little longer than expected to put together.
You definitely need two ppl to put it together obviously lol but its pretty simple. Its sturdy and so worth it for he price. Im 183 in weight and my 3 year old is 32lbs and we both laid down on it so it can hold some weight lol she loves this bed. We all do. Worth it. Buy it lol dont second guess lol we bought an 8 inch twin size mattress no box spring needed and it fit perfect.
Son is three and this is his first big boy bed. He was so excited he went up and down twenty times before we even got the sheets on. Husband put it together while we were gone and got it done in about 2-3 hours on his own and that included getting the old bed out of there. Mattress we got is 7 1/2 inches thick and that was perfect thickness for it to still be easy to get on the slide and to still have the barrier there enough to protect him from falling
It's an okay value for the cost. The precut and stained lumber alone is worth the price, however the directions suck and some parts had minor damage.
Pros:
The wood is nice quality. With the exception of the white portion of the slide, the entire thing is solid wood that's been stained a nice color.
Overall sturdiness. Once assembled, the bed feels very solid. The picture does not show this, but there are 16 slats that run underneath the mattress, giving it nice stability. The slats are also close enough together that children cannot fit their heads through the gaps (major health risk!)
Cons:
HORRIBLE to assemble. As several other reviews mentioned, assembly is a real beast. Two people working together is not just a suggestion - it's REQUIRED. This sucker uses FIFTY dowels. That's right...FIFTY. It took both my husband and myself (both competent, handy adults) nearly 3 hours to assemble this. Not only are the directions awful, but the majority of the pieces are unmarked. We spent over half an hour just unpacking the box and trying to figure out if everything was there (since we didn't want to get halfway through assembly only to discover we were missing a critical part).
Some wooden pieces were warped a bit. Normally this wouldn't be a horrible thing, since once you start bolting things together it will flex a bit and straighten out. The reason it made this VERY hard was because in the first few steps you're just working with the dowels, and if any of the pieces are even SLIGHTLY bent, then they will not hold together long enough for you to put in the long bolts - they'll just keep popping off each other (which led to LOTS of profanity in my house!) One of the legs (the one to the right of the ladder) was VERY badly warped, to the point where we could not fully bolt on the bottom step - only partially bolted. We were worried that if we kept trying to force the bolt in, that the wood would crack.
The slide is NOT interchangeable. If you want to switch sides on it - YOU CAN'T. I don't care what ANY of the other reviews you read might have claimed - IT CANNOT BE DONE without MAJOR re-drilling of holes (which I would not suggest).
Overall - it's not bad and we're fairly pleased with the quality - the only BIG disappointment was the bowed leg that will just have to be tightened over time.
For reference, if you're like me and you want to purchase shelving or cubbies to go under the bed area in advance of actually GETTING the bed (so you can assemble it all at once), then the clearance you're working with under the bed is 29 inches from the floor to the bottom of the bed. Understand that if you try to put something under there that is 29 inches tall, it will be touching the rails under the bed.

Okay overall - better labels and instructions would be nice!
