This is a definite upgrade from our 20/yr old sleep sofa . In fact its comfortable and will work very well on its own for a one or two night stay by guests or grandchildren. My husband and I are sleeping on it for a month to six weeks during our bedroom reno, so I had to buy a thick foam pad to make it higher and more /like.
The pull/out bed is comfy now.
We got this free 30/year/old (or 40/year/old?) pull/out sofa sleeper. The kind with the springs built into the 4/inch pad. Yuck. The old adage of take it out and put it on the floor wouldnt even work, it was that uncomfortable.
Replaced with this memory foamits like a whole new bed. Better than when this was new.
Love the memory foam and fit into my sofa bed perfectly. Had a spring box before and it just didnt last. Felt the spring against the back when sleeping on it. This memory foam is the best ever had to replace the spring .
We put this in our camper to replace couch bed. It was a good fit and seems like it will be a lot more comfortable than what we replaced. We havent used it yet , but am very optimistic. Will report later.

This is great to have on hand just in case your kiddos need extra room for their friends to sleep over.
10X better then what came with the couch
Very comfortable for a pull out . Can still slightly feel the bar, but that probably has something to do with me being 250lbs. Would recommend
