We purchased this bed as a replacement to my daughters youth bed. She had been wanting a bunk bed for a while so we finally decided on this one. This is very sturdy and well built bed. Easy assembly. If you have any kind of handyman experience you should not have any issues putting this together.
Works perfectly but the bottom bunk is better for someone shorter. If you are over 5’6” you can’t sit up on the bottom bunk unless you get a very thin mattress. Luckily it didn’t bother my kid. She just made it a cave with an led light rope tacked up for light and ambiance. I would hang out in there. The top is perfect for low ceilings and you can sit up. We put a tall ikea cube bookshelf between the bed and the wall to make a shelf for the top bunk and storage for the bottom. My girls love it. It was fairly easy to assemble as long as you sort the pieces first. A couple plastic snaps were malformed but they had several spare parts so it didn’t hinder assembly. Very heavy duty. Install it where you want it because once the mattresses are on it doesn’t want to slide. I would definitely buy this again.
Box came damaged and without assembly instructions, appropriate item labels for identification of product, and missing 1 item P - slat/rail. The one box that it was shipped in was too heavy and should have been shipped in multiple boxes for ease of handling. Other than that, it meets our expectations.
I LOVE these bunkbeds! Just put them together yesterday for my son. They were pretty easy to put together and the instructions were easy/basic.
The only flaw that I feel these bunkbeds might have is I dont understand why the bars that the mattress lay on, why the end pieces are flat? To me, they seem like they would bend easy..like I wouldnt chance laying on ither bed with my child in fear of bending the bars underneath the mattress at where they lock in place to the side metal frame. And kids do like to mess around in their beds so what if he jumps into or on the bed or something (even tho I made 3 rules regarding safty on the top bunk but kids do forget when parents r in other rooms..) And bends the bars? Only time will tell how strong these bars are but that is my only concern. Specially after spending so much on these bunkbeds.
The plastic pieces that you use to secure the bars in the slots and the other plastic pieces just be gentle when installing them as I did break a few and am sure glad they sent extras!
Other than these few minor things I had issues with, once they were built and done up, they look awesome and I love how much lower the beds are than other metal bunkbeds are! That is why I chose these ones.
My husband and I put this together in just a few hours it was simple/easy enough to do without wanting to murder each other. lol The small grey clips you insert to hold the bars in were very flimsy and kept breaking. They did send extra pieces of tools which I thought was awesome but they did not send extra grey clips (be careful with them).
Other than that issue it was well worth the buy and our 10 year old daughters love the bed!!!
I bought this bed for my sons who needed more than a regular twin bunk bed. I had no idea they even made such a thing as a full over full bunk! I chose this because it was low to the ground and that it was metal. This bed is definitely lower than you expect height wise but its only because its about an inch off the ground, not 6 or more. I like that I can look right into the top bunk and that the top bunk is not too close to the ceiling. We had one mattress and purchased a 6 inch memory foam mattress from for the bottom bed. Weve had it a couple months and its been working great for our purposes! I would recommend this for those who are looking for a larger size bunk bed but dont want it to take up the entire room.

Would have been better if item was received intact and with all pieces.
