These chairs look so good in person! They are for the lobby of our new business. They are wide enough for all sizes and comfortable to sit in. My picture doesnt show the color very well, but its a vibrant blue that really pops.
Ive been searching for weeks online and in brick/and/mortar stores trying to find a chair that would be a perfect fit for someone who sits cross/legged all day (but also has a nice tall backrest). That isnt made from cold leather/pleather.
This was the only thing on that ticked all the boxes: Low and unobtrusive arm rests (in fact, they help keep the knees from hyperextending); can recline the back; fabrics not too scratchy; seat is nice and wide (about 20 inches).
It was a massive pain to assemble, and it looks like something the 70s would reject (a darker shade of gray, or black, could fix that). But it IS very comfortable, and feels sturdy.
If you value function over form, its a good investment.
My cat is going to destroy this thing.
I love this chair. Ok lets get down to the nitty gritty. I weight north of 400 and it holds my weight no problem. I feel secure in this chair and do not worry about it falling apart. It fully reclines to a great position for sleeping and when getting up the leg support goes back in really easy. The only two items I wish were different. I am 510 and when sitting in it my feet do not touch the ground, no problem since I always recline it, and its extra height makes it easy to get out of it. The other note is I wish there was a little more lumbar support but once settled in, the chair seems to hug you and taking a nap comes easy. What can I say, I like the chair and would I certainly buy it again. But just be aware that it is high and if you are my height your feet will dangle LOL.
I am 5ft 9 in and weigh an easy 350 lbs. I have a degenerative bone disease in my hips and lower back . I have trouble getting in and out of most chairs . This chair offers all the comfort and stability I need . My feet dont quite reach the floor when in an upright position but its not an issue . The handle was a bit hard to operate at first but has since become easier to use . I highly recommend ths chair for anyone needing a stronger heavy duty chair that they wont sink down into , especially if you have arthritis or other ailments that make getting in and out of chairs difficult .
Order the chair and it took two wks after purchase to have chair delivered, but day of delivery we received message the chair was damaged, so chair was not being delivered. Request replacement that took another two wks, but it arrived. Per their purchase the chair was to be delivered inside the o the first room entered. Heres the rub. The two smaller ladies delivering the chair had a tough time handling the chair with a dolly. Second the box the chair comes in is WAY bigger then a 36 inch front door, so they was going to leave the chair outside on the sidewalk. After I informed them what I paid for was first room delivery they attempted to say well because the box doesnt fit we can deliver. Ok so take the chair out of the box and move it in to the first room per agreement. They attempted to say that be another charge to remove item from the box and disposal of it. After talking I told them they needed to fulfill the contract a d that means removing the chair from box to complete the job. I disposed the box.
The chair is good and solid for a heavy person the only issue the back of the chair easily pops out of place, theres no bolt that holds it, it just slips down in grooves.

Ugly as sin, but great for sitting cross/legged
