The assembly instructions were easy to read. My husband and I had it put together pretty quick! It's well made and has plenty of storage, perfect for what we needed!!!
I bought this island cart after shopping extensively and agonizing over what to get for my kitchen. The cart is great! I had read some good reviews and some bad reviews but decided to go for it. Im so glad I did! When it arrived I (a 65 year old 5 tall woman living alone) was challenged to drag the box into the house as the UPS guy leaned it up against the wall, rang the doorbell, and took off. I got it in and opened it. First I took an inventory of all the hardware. There was one extra of everything, and each bag was well marked. Next I took out the pieces, all well marked and all accounted for. I left the wood top in the box to keep it safe until I was ready for it.
I was amazed by how smoothly the assembly went. Ive put stuff together before, but it was never this easy. So now Im ready for the top. I struggled it out of the box (its heavy), and OH NO! There was a gouge right in the center of the top. Too big and deep to overlook. I was pretty upset. It was Saturday night about 11:00 PM. Sunday morning I sent an email to the company with photos, according to the instructions in the manual, but I was anxious about it, wondering if I was going to have to send the whole thing back, or box up the damaged top, or... what! I called them Monday morning, and they were so nice about it. They took my information, looked up the email, sent me a new top and told me to dispose of the damaged piece. The new top arrived within a week, in perfect condition. I couldnt be happier! I strongly recommend this company and their products.
This is NOT an IKEA kitchen cart! It is of high quality materials and was easy to put together. With breaks, it took me an hour and a half to put together by myself, but no issues what-so-ever; holes all lined up perfectly and all very stable. It looks great and very rubust. Wife is happy, so I am happy!
I am so happy with this island, and it has really helped me with both storage and prep space. I love how the drop leaf makes it a large prep surface but still narrow enough to slide against the wall when not in use.
It was a little challenging to assemble in terms of time and complexity, but I found the instructions really well designed and the parts very clearly labeled. I recommend an electric screwdriver to make the task go faster.
I am most impressed with the little details that suggest careful design. The props for the drop leaf have grooves to ensure theyre secure and create an even surface. The doors latch with a magnet. The paper towel roll holder removes easily. Its clear that thought was put into actual day-to-day function, and it has greatly improved my kitchen workflow to have this item in my house.
We love this island! Assembly was so smooth with excellent instructions and hardware. The hardware was well organized and labeled and the pieces came securely packed. We were very impressed. After assembly the island looks like a nice piece that was an original part of my kitchen!
