While definitely a two (or three is available) person job, the assembly was not overly challenging. I highly recommend using a drill with adjustable torque as otherwise it would be VERY challenging to hand tighten all of the screws.
The bed is very sturdy and the finish was practically flawless. The desk, while small, is perfect for my daughter especially with distance learning.
We did significant searching and researching for the perfect loft bed and am very pleased with our selection. I highly recommend this!

I am not sure why, but we have finally assembled it a week ago and it still emits a VERY STRONG CHEMICAL SMELL.
I have left the window open every day, and at night I have turned on the air purifier in that bedroom.
I am still not allowing my child to sleep in that bed and he is very disappointed, but I am concerned about the toxicity in the air.
I am very disappointed about this. We will wait another week and hope that it will improve. I have actually purchased two. I will wait to unbox the second until I know that the first will lose the smell. Otherwise I will return it.
Other than that it looks great, it is sturdy, and it is relatively easy to assemble.
I ordered this for my 9 year old. He loves the desk feature with the bed on top. My husband put it together on his own. The material is cheap, but seems durable. We have had to tighten the ladder several times as they become lose and some of the bolts have fallen out because of the wobble.
This bed gives great value. Assembly is not terribly difficult, all you need is a couple of hours and enough space to lay things out. We bought the desk that goes along with this bed and it works well for our 2nd grader. She is able to retreat to her cubby and do her zoom calls and homework.
I would highly recommend this for kiddos! At this price with free shipping through , it made it a no brainer. This ends up being cheaper than Ikea and its feels like a much better product!

Very upset to have the bed almost together and find out the desk has a big chip on the side of it and also by the stairs... not happy at all
Perfect loft bed for teenage girl
This is a beautiful loft bed. Purchased for a 13 year old girl who loves it! Perfect. The desk is bigger than I expected. Easy assembly too.
