Its sturdy and a great price

But goodness it was a pain to put together! I like it though. Its solid, has an adhesive that holds my mattress in place, and I can store stuff underneath, once I get totes to do that. Its a good bed for the price.

    Missing screws

Simple bed. Would work well if all the pieces came with it.

    Little challenging

Directions arent great but its great once you get it out together

    Very basic and affordable platform

Really simple to assemble. Lightweight enough to easily push it around the room with the mattress on. Rubber feet are basically essential to keep this thing in one place. Does the job of keeping my mattress off the floor and providing 18 of storage space underneath.

Easy to assemble, plenty of storage room underneath, great price.

    Predrilled holes not perfectly aligned

Set up was pretty straight forward but the predrilled holes were misaligned in several places making it nearly impossible to put the screws in. I almost gave up but was able to force them in.

Its Ok / However I do have some issues

Easy to put together. Sturdy and tall enough for storage. However I do have some issues. Because we have a deep mattress (21) we couldnt use our low profile 6 box springs without having to have steps to get into bed. Because it is not solid underneath our cats are scratching the mattress. And you cant fold your top sheet under the mattress. You can tuck it in behind the bar at the end of the bed but it hangs down behind the bar. Also, I turn our mattress monthly. Because the cross bars have very strong tape to hold the mattress in place it has made it difficult to turn.

    Almost true to size

I bought a California king mattress for this California king bed frame. The mattress is a little smaller than the bedframe, so the mattress corners sink down and are not supported very well by the bedframe. Im worried about the long/term consequences of this; The bed corner is sinking down without support. Easy to assemble and relatively uncomplicated/ I did it by myself and it took 30 minutes. No heavy lifting. No power tools required. Relatively easy to follow instructions// its just like putting together a puzzle, sometimes requires extra thought
