The description says the width of the chair is 22in but the actual seating (not including the armrest) is about17in towards the front and 15in if you sit all the way back. I wear 5/7 and fill the back of the chair comfortably, meaning the sides touch my hips but dont squeeze.
So I ordered this chair on the 14th of July. It is now the 7th of august and it finally showed up. Easy to assemble, looks great and its comfy. However, the company needs to keep in touch better. So the chair gets 5 stars. The company FedEx gets 1 star.
Took 3 weeks to get here but also theres a pandemic so no big deal but expect delays. Pretty easy to assemble, had some problems getting the screws tight however. I will say the actual seat is a bit small for people with wider hips. But its very comfortable and looks great.
The leather isnt leather, some weird combo of synthetic and leather maybe. Feels weird to the touch. The color is too vibrant, not mellow like leather. Its made fairly well, but one leg was dented (3/4 along the whole width of leg) and painted over, not horrible but noticable. The cushion is sparse, not very comfortable, needs another inch or two of foam or you could put a seat cushion on it. Overall nice looking design, but failed somewhat on execution. They charged me 20 to return, offered to take 20 off if I kept it. I returned it.
I took off a star because the box arrived ripped up and damaged. It also has a VERY strong chemical odor
Assembly was pretty easy, but some of the holes were a little difficult to line up.
Ive been working from home since March and sitting on a sad hard dining chair. So far I love this chair. Its a significant improvement. Not necessarily the best office chair, but I wanted something cute that could blend in with my bedroom and living room. I find it pretty supportive to sit in comfortably for 8 hrs. Im 55 and its a good height for me. With a small pillow its perfect.
Another reviewer pointed out that its pretty small and I would agree. If you have larger hips this might be very snug or too small.
Very easy to assemble. It came in two pieces and you just have to assemble the leg p(also easy) and its ready to be sat in. Pretty sturdy chair.
My only qualm is the amount of padding. There is not much. Maybe 1/2 inch for the seat, back, and arms. And thats being generous. So the chair becomes uncomfortable to sit in for long periods of time. The swivel feature works great. No issues but does creak if you have to adjust yourself. Aesthetically, the chair is awesome though.
The package was not in good condition, even tho I open it and started assembly the chair. The holes of a leg were not matching with the main support. I emailed the company and the send me a new leg because thats what I wanted. I like the chair and I wanted to keep it. Everything works perfect, Im very happy with my purchase and I recommend it.
This chair looks really nice and is comfortable for short stints. I wouldnt want to spend an entire day sitting in it though. Its a Mid/Century Modern design, so dont expect great ergonomics. It scores nicely in the looks department and the color is very pleasant too. Putting it together was a snap, however Im not sure of the long term durability. Where the chair connects to the legs doesnt seem to be the sturdiest connection. Time will tell.
Ordered July 6, just got it today. First chair was lost. But did get a credit for the hassle. Very supportive structure. Seems great for my back. Seat is narrow so beware of that and pretty firm. I am thinking that will improve over time. But looks great and love the color of the wood and grey fabric.
