I was hesitant at first due to the price as well as the reviews claiming their product came damaged or bent/angled/crooked / I only had a few minutes on my lunch break to run home and take my package inside before some crook stole it / I opened up the box right away to check out the shelf. It was so quick easy to put together didnt take more than 30 seconds to snap it together and hook it on my sons jr loft bed. DHP WE furniture ought to team up and sell these babies with the loft beds!! It is such a great addition to my sons bed and Im so glad cause now he can keep his remote a book and a glass of water his iPad and a box of kleenex right at his reach. Its also going to come in handy for his late night nebulizer treatments I am so glad I went ahead and ordered this product. There were similar products but most were designed to slide under a mattress and/or were flimsy looking plastic or wooden which did not seem like it would hook onto a metal loft bed frame. This little device was made for the rounded metal railings of metal bunk/loft beds alike. It is the perfect size I know some people stated it was smaller than expected but I truly believe it fitting a good 20oz cup, 3 remotes an iPad books and a Kleenex box is more than enough and super convenient! The basket is way bigger than I expected so its a win for me. I couldnt be more pleased at the ease of the entire design from packaging to assembly to aesthetic. It is sturdy! the metal is pretty heavy duty but it is stable and not too heavy for the metal railing of the loft bed. You will not be disappointed, its money well spent. My son was excited to see it already put up when he got home from school / he knows how I am I usually have his dad put things together because Im not the assembler here never played with legos so if I can snap it together within 10 seconds and have it on my sons bed in another 15 seconds so can you!

I got this product because I wanted to free up some space in my small room and it works very well for that purpose. It took me and my friend a couple hours to assemble it but that was because we made a few mistakes along the way and had to back track a few times not because of the product or the directions itself.
It is pretty sturdy once put together. It shakes a bit when I climb up it but once I am in bed there is minimal to no shaking. The ladder steps are quite uncomfortable to step on so I suggest using pool noodles or some sort of padding if you plan on purchasing this product.
I was able to fit a small desk and a dresser under it with room to spare, which was nice.
Overall a good product for anyone, even bigger adults, looking to free up space in their room.
I spent a few weeks reading reviews, looking at local yardsale sites and I decided this was the best value. I felt it was important to buy this new, as it needed to be sturdy and have all the parts. This bed is incredibly strong and well built. It was super easy to put together. You can see other sellers on and elsewhere with the same model bed for a lot more as well. The package this came in was far too heavy for me to move. I could barely even slide it at all. There was a point in the assembly process that I dont think is possible by yourself. Luckily someone came over as I got to that point! I have no complaints. They provided extra hardware which is always awesome and appreciated.
This is the only shelf I could find it looked like it would easily hanging on the side of a metal ( not wood Which the majority of them are) bunk bed. Easy to put together a one step fits the snuggly easily on the side of our top bunk just like the picture. Price was a little on the high side but my son loves it So do I project lives up to its description and picture, Very satisfied.
This thing was a nightmare to assemble. Nearly 4 hours, many swear words, bruises, and pulled muscles later, I finally got it finished. I did all of it alone except for two steps which require either two people or one person with at least three arms. Im also not a handy or mechanically inclined person, though, so someone else may have an easier go of it. Its quite wobbly so I do wish it was sturdier. I will be using the provided brackets to anchor into the wall because of this, but that was something I was hoping to avoid needing. For the price, Id recommend it, but if youve got a bigger budget, maybe buy something a bit better.
While I strongly recommend building this bed with someone, I was able to assemble it by myself. Way sturdier and heavier than I thought it was going to be, which makes for a solid and beautiful piece of furniture in our teens room.
