This is a great bed for a kid! I bought it for my son, because he had outgrown his toddler bed and I wasnt ready to bump him up to a full size. He loves it!
I probably wouldnt suggest it for a teenager or adult in a small space, as I am well under the weight limit and it still creaks when I sit on it, but for a kid its perfect!
I was nervous about ordering this bed online. I am so happy I did. It is excellent. The best part is the thoughtful engineering. It has dowels in place for a quick and easy assembly. I would recommend this bed.
The frame is darker than the photos shown, its a mocha brown which I love and fits better with the Agreeable Gray wall paint.
Set up was easy, I just followed the directions. No missing pieces, yay!
I cannot comment on durability until I actually use the bed, so if I dont edit this review know Im satisfied with the durability.
My mattress is 12 inches in the photo expanding to 14, so theres a decent amount of headboard space.
The mattress hangs over the bed a tad but with bedding on, you wont see it all.
Overall, happy with my purchase for now.
I like the look of this bed, but I was a bit nervous because of so many bad reviews. It was uncomplicated to assemble. Ive been sleeping on it for about a week and thankfully it hasnt fallen apart, cracked, or spontaneously combusted yet! The wood is a nice tan brown color.
Was easy to assemble little concerned there isnt more support on the sides after seeing some of the horrible problems people have had. THIS IS A VERY DARK COLOR! THE IMAGES ON ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE.
This bed frame was so easy to put together! Everything was clearly labeled and the numbers on each piece literally match up to each other, so there was no way to get anything wrong/backwards. Great quality and simple instructions!
The bed was pretty easy to put together, but we did have some issues with wood chips in the holes that made it a challenge to line up the pieces, but once we discovered that and cleaned out the wood chips, it was a piece of cake.
Sturdy enough so far with my 5 year old bouncing on it for the last month.
Definitely does the job we need it to do.
