I really wanted to love this chair- we got (from Target) it for the nursery and it is absolutely beautiful. It is extremely comfortable and I love nursing my little one in it. However, each time I get out of it to put little down, it swings back and Im always worried it will knock over the things I have on the nightstand next to me. This feature makes the chair very inconvenient because the last thing you want as you are trying to put a sleeping baby down is for the chair to fly off.
Also, I got the matching gliding ottoman to go with this and I really wish they had a stationary ottoman instead. It is so much easy to prop your feet up to nurse without the gliding ottoman.
Those two things together mean that I am returning the whole thing and getting something else.
Looks great, glides nicely, and was easy to put together. I have spent hours upon hours in this chair in my sons first couple months of life. Some cons....the back is a little heavy and sometimes when I get up it tips back super far and stays in that position until I push it back down. The detail on the armrests also seems to be wearing pretty quickly amd there is a slight clicking noise when rocking.
Its honestly less that I would expect from a chair advertised like this one is. Its rather cheap construction and build quality, though Im sure it will last as just a nursing chair. My biggest complaint is that is leans back very far. The pictures show it sitting proper as you would expect, but when assembled, it leans very far back. Its also very firm. Not terrible for the price, but its def. not a 5 star option.
The chair is easy to assemble - it took me 15 minutes. Sitting in it is comfortable as advertised. The price is amazing - compared to a similar chair you can buy from .
The seat is a bit shallow and i have long legs so i only gave it 4 stars. The cushions are very plush though and the armrests are comfortable enough to rest arms for extended periods while feeding burping etc
I was very disappointed in this rocking chair. I got this chair as a rocker for the nursery. I really like the look and the chair itself is comfortable but it is too tall. I am 5 5 and I could barley touch the ground on my tippy toes. Plus the bottom portion of the bar dug into the back of my knees. It did fit my 6 tall hubby however. It is being returned.
