They are definitely cheap. You get what you pay for is always a good rule of thumb when buying things. They only hold about 10 pounds, which is fine for such a small cheap table. I am coating them in polycrylic to keep them from scratching and staining, so they may appear slightly less cheap.
I had to order them twice because the first time, they arrived scratched and with water stains...very clearly used and returned. The company should have better quality assurance, however, these will work until I am ready to buy better ones.
So easy to assemble, even for a mechanically-challenged person. No tools required and took me less than ten minutes to put two tables together. Works great as a bookshelf or plant stand or just end table for all those things you want to grab (TV remote, phone etc.). Cute. Great price as well.

Cute tables that look rustic and fit in well in our home. We use one right next to our back door and it fits well in a small space.
