This looks okay but not a good buy. I should have believed the other reviewers that it was hard because it is. But I wanted something nicer than a blow up mattress but this isnt it. It will probably work to send to college with my granddaughter as an extra sleeping spot chair. I would not recommend it.
Its is not comfortable as a chair or bed. In chair it has a board across the front that is very uncomfortable. I have had it two months and it sounds like its going to fall apart. Its just started squeaking with every move. I am very disappointed.
Its great for being small, easy to move by yourself and easy to afford, but pretty quickly it feels like youre sleeping on a metal frame more than a mattress. Its better than nothing though
It is really adorable and works well for a short person to sit on. When used as a bed, both the head and the foot move up and down is you barely move.. I solved that the first night by putting a pillowcase over cinder block bricks. I upgraded to 4 x 6 wood. Im sure theres a classier fix but, I was in a pinch.
I dont find this bed to be very comfortable. We live in an old, two-story house, with no AC upstairs where I sleep. I was hoping to have an easy bed available on the main floor where we do have AC on those really hot nights, instead of the couch or recliner so that I could stretch my legs. I was so excited when the bed arrived and it was super easy to assemble (although one screw hole didnt line up). The bed is too hard, and theres a ridge along one of the joints that I had to avoid. Overall, it works as an extra place to sit, and I found it tolerable for sleeping with a heavy quilt folded up on it for extra cushioning, but I wouldnt sleep a guest on it if I liked them. Wishing I had gone for something with a thicker cushion.
So my guest room is also my art studio. I wanted a bed for company that didnt look like a bed for company. So I got two of these chairs. When folded out and pushed together they make an RV queen size bed 60X75. I had two older trifold mattresses (also 60x 75 inches) which fit perfectly on top for extra cush. To keep it all together I got a mattress cover (Bamboo Mattress Topper Queen RV 60x75 Inches Short Queen Cooling Pillow Top Mattress) that also fit perfectly!
Am very happy with the results. The chairs are a slick design. Easy to fold down and up, light weight, and cool looking.
