I think only men wrote the previous reviews because these chairs were rated a 5 in terms of assembly. Now, I had to do them myself and I did not find it quite as easy as indicated. It was easy in terms of what had to be done but not so easy in getting it done. My only other complaint would be that they are too top/heavy so if holding onto the rear top of the chair it can tip backwards. They should have weighted the legs.
However, they are very good looking and comfortable and were very reasonably priced. So, I guess you cant have everything!!!
I bought an 8 seater table from Pier 1 when it was on the going out of business clearance. These chairs are exact duplicates of the chairs that go with this table. I dont know about the negative reviews but I think these chairs are aming. They are sturdy, easy to assemble, comfortable and just PERFECT. The fabric and trim are all very tightly in place and the color looks just like the picture. Someone said they have a blue tint to the gray but I dont agree with that either. They are just gray, at least the ones I received. They were packaged well, very well protected, no dings or chips, no damage anywhere. I put all 6 chairs together, alone, in about 3 hours. The bolts are tightened with an allen wrench and you have to hand tighten all of them(9 per chair), so my hands and thumbs are quite sore this morning but it was well worth the effort! The very last chair did not fit as flush as the others but it was workable and its just as sturdy. You have to read the directions first(this is why I assembled them instead of my husband) and not tighten them as far as you can but instead tightening them a little at a time. And yes, there were maybe 3 that were wobbly but I was able to work with the front legs a bit and was able to straighten them out for the most part, but mine are on an area rug(see pic) so the little bit of wobbly isnt noticeable at all but can most likely be fixed by replacing the protective piece on the short leg with one a little thicker. They are just a few centimeters different on these 3, so not a big deal for me. The other 3 are perfect. I highly recommend these chairs, you wont be disappointed!
Items came in two boxes in two days. Went together fast and looks extremely well with my table. The only things I would like to have done with them is to have the material Scothgard on them. A good value and I love them. Wish i had found them sooner. Very stylish and great quality!
I was really excited to order and receive these chairs, but the quality and color were underwhelming in person. Unfortunately I had to return them Other than that, its a great product!
The price vs the quality was a real bargain. We will use these as dining end chairs and as accent chairs under a picture window. They helped top off a long awaited kitchen renovation and we are now looking forward to Thanksgiving. Ill message you all back should any not hold up but so far they are sturdy, comfortable and worked perfect for our design. Very impressed with the quality.

Love these. Bought 4. They are rustic and rough and I waxed the wood after assembling them. Definitely looks nice.
