Theres a lot of space for storage. The have to lift up to open close. Its a little lower than anticipated but I didnt check that measurement before purchase so it may say in the description. A little difficult to put together. Overall a great bed for my daughters room. Pretty.
EVERYTHING went well with the entire process other than the way that UPS dropped my package off. putting the bed together was so easy due to great instructions and it feels wonderful. The headboard isnt as large as I expected it to be but its not a major deal. the bed is wonderful and I love it. The fact that Im coming back after 2 weeks just to write a review just shows how much I love this bed.
I seen a few reviews about this bed being not so sturdy, i bought it anyway because of the i didnt want a dresser and let me tell you these are huge! I purchased a queen size and all my and my husband items fit in 2 i also seen people commenting about the boards breaking that supported the mattress i dont see how that could be possible if assembled correctly, myself and my husband combined weight is around 480 so i can say this bed will hold one happy customer here.
My 10 year old daughter and I put this together in about 3 hours. The directions were great, and the packaging was very intuitive and easy to understand. I had my doubts about how the lifting function would work for her, but it is super smooth going up. She loves having to put a little oomph into pulling it back down. I also love that the bedding doesnt mess up when you lift the bed. Even though we were tired after we assembled it (started late in the evening), she couldnt wait to organize her storage space. One of the floorboards had a slight tear in the , but you cant see it when the bed is made. Great purchase!
I assembled this by myself in under three hours. Very well made. Directions are very clear and well written. You should not need to drill anything or anything like that. Just be mindful of the directions LOL. Anyway, thought it might be helpful to hear another perspective since so many were complaining about assembly… I assemble furniture fairly often, and I found this to be one of the easier pieces I have ever assembled.
This is a good bed and it looks great. Included some extra assembly parts just in case so that was nice. My only issue is the on one of the sides to the bed was yellowed a but. I didnt return it because lets face it that is a chore for something so big. You dont even notice it.

Great product if youre not looking for a 2,000 heirloom bed
Be sure you read the directions when youre doing the wooden slats or you could really mess stuff up. I almost did. Great product, would recommend it.

I love this bed the color is beautiful, it was a reasonable price and its very sturdy and comfortable doesnt give me any issues !
Wonderful Storage Bed
This bed is beautifully made, with plenty of storage for extra blankets and pillows(or whatever!)
