I L.O.V.E. this futon!! Its warm, cozy and comfortable. The seat tilts backward toward the back, which needs a little getting used to when you lay on it when its upright. As a mattress, its suuuuuper comfy!! The only downside is that after a while, the springs get a little creaky. When I get up, its like I weigh a ton (Creak!). I havent yet tried WD/40 to see if it resolves the problem/and it might. Its also a bit of work to flatten it. Im not strong enough to do it alone. I wish that part was easier. However, for the most part, I use it as a sofa: a napping spot, reading spot and movie spot. The color is a pretty slate blue/green. This is not a subpar product!
I purchased this futon for my guest room for my Grandsons to sleep over! It is absolutely beautiful. Measurements and pictures were spot on. Assembly took me under 1 1/2 hours all by myself (Im a pretty handy 58 year old Grandma). I did watch the assembly video before starting which was very, very helpful. Instructions were absolutely perfect. All the bolts and screws are packaged so well in order of Step 1, Step 2, etc. All material parts are numbered and color coded. Very difficult to mess this up. I cant wait to have the boys over!!!
Solid piece of . Requires two people to convert from bed to sofa as I cant get it to fold properly on my own. Watching the video made assembly fairly easy.
Easy to assemble but will take about an hr. Comfort depends on type of futon matress u put on it. I recommend 8 inch with springs inside. Very plump. Very sturdy. I had one made of metal with bead welds that eventually fell apart 3 yrs later. Whats good about this is not only is it bery strong but if any piece of material inadvertently broke its an easy fix. Buy a piece of material to replace the broken and i can see this futon lasting forever. Only downside is my last futon had hardware with springs to assist you in reclining and declining. But no springs on this. No hardware. U gotta use all muscle to lift up back and w/ 1 arm and lift other end w\ other arm.

The shipment tracking was not accurate, but it did arrive when they said it would. You should find that assembly is easy if you have assembled before. If this is your first assembly project, set some time aside and order lunch. I am very pleased with it. My daughter slept on it for over a month during the Christmas holidays and said it was comfortable (for a futon).
The only thing that I have an issue with is that it is difficult to put it back into the sitting position with one person. If you take the cushion/mattress off, it can be done but who wants to do that.
