Bought 2. Came fully assembled. Soft feel to the touch. Seat on the firmer side but thats good because most furniture will loosen up in time. We find them very comfortable. We keep pillows on the seat so our cats wont scratch them when they lay on the chairs, then we use the pillows for lumbar support when we use them. They are okay without the lumbar support but better with the pillows. Swivel action is very smooth. Very nice quality and looks nice.
