A must have! I share a room with my daughter unfortunately, and this is a great space solver! Weve had it for about two months now, and no complaints! Quick note: after using it for a while, its a good idea to go back over all your bolts/screws and give a tightening if needed. Things will initially move and loosen just a tad as you break it in.
You will need someone to help you assemble, but Im sure the truly determined can manage alone. Had to struggle a little to get the ladder lined up on one side as it seemed the piece was crooked. A GOOD TIP: DO NOT TIGHTEN AS SOON AS YOU ATTACH. LEAVE A LITTLE WIGGLE ROOM AS YOU LINE THINGS UP, THEN GO BACK AND TIGHTEN. Best to start laying the slats on top from one side to another first, then doing the bottom in the same fashion. Very good value for high quality.
The box is extremely heavy and its definitely a multiple person job to put it together. I purchased it for my 3 and 5 year old boys. They were really excited for it even though they had separate rooms previous we chose to combine them to make a toy room. My oldest wanted to sleep on the top but quickly backed out 10 minutes into the first night and sleeps on the bottom with his brother.
The top railing is not very high even with the recommended top mattress thickness and it is a little shakey but you get what you pay for I guess. I do like that the height from the floor to the bottom bunk is wide enough to allow me to slide a twin mattress underneath like a trundle.
Overall, Im happy with it and would buy it again. IT is EXACTLY like pictured. Beautiful
I needed two full sized beds but didnt have a lot of space and this worked out great. I wasnt so happy with having to place each slat but there isnt a better way to make the bed fit in the box. I gave it four stars because one leg was bent and some of the pipes had rust on it. I am happy with it despite the bent and rust. LOVE THIS SO MUCH!
I ordered this when I was sharing a room with my roomate, didnt know the guy so that was kind of awkward but the point is that is a good bunk bed. Its full over full for cheap. Often you will see on sites that they have like twin over queen or twin over twin, so this was nice for me being on top to be able to have my full sized bed. The downside is that its load as hell and big, its very annoying to get up and down and often I would just jump up and down because the stairs suck.
Overall, Decent. Worth every dime
