A well built cabinet not use to finger print actuation but love it after using most of the time Would recommend and did install 2 LED stick on lights for better visibility when looking for items Nice touch is the felt padding for the rifle butts on the bottom of the cabinet along with the felt on the bottom of upper lockable space. perfect location in upper lockable area for plenty of ammunition all my rifles have scopes, lasers and flash lights so getting 5/7 rifles in is a challenge but doable Perfect size for storage in my bedroom Was impressed with the packaging of the cabinet when it arrived well padded and quite easily slid on the carpet or flooring Was disappointed unit was not fire rated Mounting hardware is heavy duty overall quite happy with purchase

This is a quality Biometric gun safe that has 3 methods to open it. It includes a battery backup incase the main battery goes dead. The safe feels pretty sturdy and well built. I like the fingerprint reader as it picks up my fingerprints fast. You can save many prints in the system. The key entry is my least favorite feature as the dust cover doesnt have a retaining device so you need to put it back in place after opening or you could lose it. Their customer service is top notch. They will contact you after it shows being delivered to ensure your satisfaction. They will even extend your warranty. This is my 3rd Moutec gun safe of different sizes and uses. If I ever require another safe, it will be a Moutec, no doubt what so ever.
This safe is a excellent choice for the money. Its not as sturdy as as some other safes that have the big wheel handle but its also not as heavy and complicated to mount. At about 100 lbs I was able to maneuver the safe in place by myself and bolt it to the wall with ease. And, its not going anywhere. Even though the safe arrived with a broken reset button, Moutec immediately sent out a replacement button and included a free door organizer. Talk about customer service. So, in conclusion, I recommend this safe over the much more expensive and heavy safes for quality and ease of installation.

Good safe for good price
Easy to set up combination and fingerprint scanner. Easy to register for warranty as well. Wish the inner lock box was just a couple inches taller.
