My wife and I bought this item to store frequently worn shoes in our entry hallway. We can also comfortably sit on the bench to remove or put on shoes. The capacity worked out to a total of 4 pairs of shoes one pair / shelf. Mid or high top shoes / sneakers did not work out well ( the doors could not close ).
The item looks good and it was not difficult to assemble. I would recommend this purchase.
FYI / for seating purposes, those individuals with large backsides may be challenged based on the narrow footprint of the pad on top of the bench ! We had no issues ! Perfect size and color for my needs.
Some parts were kind of annoying to put together and it didnt seem sturdy, had to really put some elbow grease in at some points. Now that i made sure it could withstand my husband or I sitting on it without it rattling, it seems pretty sturdy ( i know this piece isnt meant to last a long time!). Just wanted to have a clean place to take shoes off and store them upon entering my home so we can enforce no shoes rule! Would definitely buy again!

( Maybe because of COVID but it was frustrating) The directions were not easy for me but Im nit a person who puts furniture like ikea furniture together . Also, the pieces that hold the shelf in, keep popping out despite the wood glue I used. However if one stays in it still works. Despite the shipping, directions that piece that falls out, I actually would buy it again ! Its thin and fits in our e try way (as others I found were to wide and blocked the door from opening all the way. The bottom of your shoes contain so many germs so I like guests to take their shoes off and its a great place to store them and sit to take them off and on. If it wasnt for the directions and that piece that keeps popping out I I would have given it 5 stars. The price I paid however was inexpensive compared to others I shopped so overall the value is worth it. very reasonably priced as well.
Its cute dont get
Me wrong but not worth the price its at in my opinion. I also had a hole all messed up on on one of the boards so couldnt screw the screw in and so it is wobbly which I saw in other reviews too. Its cute for small area but I expected it bigger for my bigger area Very stylish and great quality!
