Very well made and good value for the price. Its my first platform bed. I like that I didnt have to purchase a box spring foundation. I purchased a hybrid mattress and find it very comfortable. It doesnt make noise when I reposition. I also like that the head board is low enough that it sits below my window. The neutral color goes with everything. Its pretty aming
Quite disappointed the seams do not line up, they are not deep like the picture either. Many nicks and imperfections everywhere. Wish I didnt spend the money on this, should have went to a furniture store and actually looked at beds. Terribly hard to change sheets as well, skin hurts badly from just putting on the fitted sheet. So disappointed!
Ive been waiting for this bed and was so excited to start putting it together. I was concerned because it looked like the packages had been repackaged, but I didnt see anything externally wrong.
Unfortunately, the headboard and a side rail was significantly damaged. I havent contacted the seller yet, and Ive no idea if it was them or responsible for the damage. After all the moving weve done Im just over all of it.
Its a great value, very sturdy, and I love it. But the damage just about made me cry. Im too tired to deal with re assembly/But its sad to have a new bed already banged up.
Id give this 5 stars but for the damage and this completely exhausted feeling it gives me every time I see it. Pretty disappointing purchase for the price.
/ I wanted to buy this bed since quite sometime, was waiting for black Friday to buy it. Got it 450 taxes.
/ Its made from solid wood and not MFD but there are places where I can see MFD. From the images you can see that below the upholstered part I can see MFD.
/ The bed is really sturdy, and unlike other MFD wood bed, this one does not shift easily. The pro is that its really sturdy and does not make squeaky sounds. The con is that its difficult to assemble by one person.
/ My mattress is 8 inches high, the mattress goes in about 2 inches. So putting the bed sheet is a bit tricky as we have to lift the mattress out of the bed frame. But once the sheets are put on, it stays nice and tucked.
/ The headboard upholstered material is good, but it was a bit dirty from the top (attached image)
/ The biggest disappointment was that one of the side rails was not finished properly, its abrasive and a bit ugly. But as the bed is too heavy, I didnt even bother contacting the seller to send me a replacement part or bed.
Assembling Problems:
/Extremely difficult and time consuming to assemble as compared to other zinus bed frame which has easy of assembling and can be easily done by 1 person.
/ You Require tools to assemble that are does not come with the bed. Like a screwdriver and a DRILL machine. I mean students generally dont have drill machine. Why doesnt the bed come with pre drilled hole? The slats have hole but then the bed frame doesnt. So drilling is required.
/ The pre drilled holes as per the images posted by me is at the side of the slats. Its difficult to drill as the drill machine touches the side rail.
/ Finally first you need to assemble the bed frame and then finally attach the legs. The issue with that is that the bed frame is heavy, we need to lift it to be able to attach the legs.
Overall I am really happy with the bed. If not for such quality issues I would have given it 5 stars. Assembling was extremely hassle/some but then I dont regret buying it. Im happy
Front bed piece came scratched.
I asked to get a partial discount so I dont have to disassemble the whole bed and ship it but was not given that option. Nor was I given the option to at least replace the front piece.
With the amount of work to take it down and ship it I was forced to keep it with the scratch. Good but could be better
I hate particle board. There was no reason to include it in the construction of this bed, but they couldnt let it ship without some. The panel on the headboard that the side frames attach to is particle board for no reason at all. The rest of the bed is wood, so why just this one panel? Why a structural piece? Stop particle board! Pretty disappointing purchase for the price.
I did not receive the headboard. I will gladly update this review once my missing package has arrived. I have high hopes for this bed, but as of now, it is completely useless to me as a massive piece of the bed is missing
Edit: the missing pieces of my bed arrived, I went ahead and opened everything up and it looks to be in fantastic condition. Im very happy with the quality of the bed so far and it looks gorgeous. I want to wait until I put the bed together to give a more in/depth review and a higher rating. I will edit again once its put together.
Edit: Came back to say the bed is fantastic. Its fully assembled and still holding up great. Doesnt bend or shake with any kind of movement or added weight which is great for two ppl sharing a bed. My SO is heavier than me and I was worried there would be bowing with the slats but that isnt the case. its very comfortable

The hardware packaging could be a little more clear on contents, but wasnt really hard to figure out. Love the feel of the fabric and the color
Front piece can scratched out the box
