Avoid this bed /It lasted less than a year I have a gentle 7 year old girl.
First of all, this was very time consuming difficult to put together
Next, some of the screws have been constantly popping out.
Finally, had a terrifying experience when my daughters friend tried to climb up the bed got her arm woven into the rails. Very, very scary. She was crying hysterical. Yes, children should not climb without the ladder mine never did, but kids will be kids the bed should be able to sustain regular activity without becoming dangerous. Please trust me and do NOT buy these.
We received this product several months ago and were impressed with the excellent packaging. We just assembled it and it is sturdy and as described. However we were disappointed that one of the rails has a rough spot in the paint, which wasnt noticed until it was too late to repackage the million parts and ask for a replacement. Hoping the company will make good and send a new rail.
The company was very helpful and sent a new rail. It was installed and has been enjoyed by three of our grandchildren. Will be buying from them again
Its a perfect size for us. Very sturdy so far but light enough so I can move it by myself if need be. I like the design because it leaves plenty of space underneath for storage.
I put this together by myself but if you can get a person to help you it will go MUCH faster (took me about 3.5 hours and a lot of expletives to finish). Its not too difficult, but the pieces are long and having someone to help hold things in place is invaluable.
Tip: dont use the hex key to tighten the screws until the very end. I had to go back and loosen screws in order to get a lot of the pieces to fit correctly and it wouldve saved me a bunch of time if Id just hand tightened in the first place. Very economical and beautiful product
Really nice bed. This was super easy to put together. I think it took me around 35minutes. Its very sturdy and looks nice. Having a full on the bottom is really a welcome addition. Only negative is that the ladder on the sides hurt your feet when trying to climb up. I solved this by taking some a/c insulations and wrapping the bars. Very good value for high quality.
