This is one product I wish Id bought in the store. The bed took a while to put together. It doesnt have any solid connection but everything is a scarw. Not entirely solid. highly disappointed!!!
Really looks good great price love it and is so great in a small room makes into a great bed as well. Does take some time and patience to put it together but is well worth it. This product was exactly what I was hoping for
Taller than i expected it to be, puts the top bunk closer to the ceiling than i wanted but overall i am very happy. Good and sturdy and easy to put together. Wish there were a few extra grey clips that hold the bars in place though. Really Happy!!
Have two teenage boys who sleep on this and it works great. They put the bottom bed up for a couch during the day, making it very useful. Be careful if you have a ceiling fan as this bed fits just under my fan, but no room for the upper bunk child to sleep. Some of the hardware did not fit together and I wound up stripping several hex screw heads.
Otherwise it was pretty easy to put together, I would recommend having at least two people to put it together just because holding up the ends to attach the middle rails is difficult. Great find!!

Looks big in a kid/size bedroom. Futon is in shadow under bed. Would need secondary light source for reading/other. Top bed feels wobbly to kid unaccustomed to bunk bed.

Once up it looks rather nice and feels sturdy. You need two people to put this together, it took us a good 2 /3 hrs to fully get this done.
Words of advise:
/ Read ahead in instructions, 2 steps ahead every time.
/ Its says Dont tighten fully the main first few steps (which is the main frame). Follow it or some of the later parts dont fully line up right. Then tighten everything after you get all the parts in.
/ Be patient with the snap in pieces for the many support cross pegs. The little snap in pieces will break and not fit right/hold it in right.
/ If you are going to use the Futon part on bottom, then you have to have the bed pulled out a bit so it doesnt hit the wall.
/ Its HEAVY so put it all together in the room you want it in, no way to move it otherwise. This is a cute design.
Im no expert on beds, or bed assembly, as this is the first new bed I have gotten in forever, but I have to say it is very sturdy. The biggest problems we had were with the assembly.
The package came a bit beat up, but the contents inside didnt seem to be effected so I wasnt worried. It was HEAVY (as most reviews said, so I was expecting that), so I had to open it up and bring it in in pieces.
My biggest complaint is that there wasnt any extra of the small pieces in the box, so if we were to lose a bolt or a nut we were SOL. The assembly definitely needs at least two people. The instructions were also a little complicated and werent clear on certain things, but its not like we couldnt figure it out/it just took us a little extra time. But otherwise, the assembly went okay. It is very big and very heavy, so make sure to build it in the room youre going to put it in if you can.
As I said before, the bed itself is very sturdy, Ive had it for about a week now, and Ive slept on both the top and the bottom (weighing 159 lbs) and not once did I feel like it was going to collapse or bend. The top bunk is kinda high up, a little higher up than most bunk beds or how high I would like a bunk bed to be, but its not like its so high that theres no room for you to sit up. It just gives me the heebie/jeebies when my niece and nephew climb up there. (I try to keep them off the top haha).
Overall, I would recommend this product. Like I said, the assembly was frustrating, but I was not disappointed in the result! Dont over think it, youll love it!!
