I was looking for a living room chair that fit my petite frame (5-0 ,114). I needed one that was firm in the seat, short to the ground with a shallow seat so that my feet could reach the ground while sitting all the way back in the chair with my knees bent. I had hopes for this chair being suitable when I read the reviews that people had put them in their teenagers room. The measurements of the I received chair are: 17 from floor to top of seat cushion, 19 deep, 15 wide, with the arms 6 high. Because the arm is low, my arms are not elevated much; chair arms too high place my arms above my waist which in turn causes circulation problems. I am seriously now considering the blue chair.
