I purchased this for my 2 boys, one is 2 the other is 8. The bed was easy enough to assemble with 2 tired parents it took us about 2 hours. 4 stars because the top is quite rickety while climbing the ladder, but once you are up there everything feels secure. Perfect!!
Great Bunk Bed. I havent heard any squeaking as other reviewers have said. It was really easy to put together. Maybe just a bit time consuming considering I did it on my own. You could definitely do it alone. Im 51 managed lol. Took me about 2 1/2 hrs total. ( I had interruptions from my kids) very simple instructions. I would reccomend! Very Sturdy product.

To put it together it took two people and about an hour mabye two. The box it comes in is very heavy and you will need 2/3 strong people to get it inside. The ladders are easily accessible. It can withstand as much as 200 pounds on top and 300 pounds on bottom.
The only bad thing about this bed is that it is sort of squeaky if you move around a lot and the little plastic pieces that are put to hold the bars under the mattress in place are not very useful some popped out as soon as the bed wad laid on . Other than that this bunk bed saves a ton of room and is useful for adults too! yes we like it.
This is not a bunk bed that can eventually turn into two separate full size beds (what I was initially looking for) , railing is a lil squeaking and sturdy enough for my small kids. Box was heavy but materials seem easily bendable. Took my husband a couple of hours to build by himself. If the materials are the same for the grey colorI wouldnt pay the additional charges. Might scream while assembling.
I purchased this for my 16 yr old daughter and 11 yr old daughter and they love it. If you do a lot of tossing and turning on the top bunk the bed does shake a little. But if you can get over that, its not a bad bed! It was also easy to install. My two girls put it together and I just came back through and tightened everything. Really good.

Boys like them. Took a bit to assemble, but it wasnt too bad. Very easy to set up!
Best Bang for your Buck
