This swing is sturdy! Put it together in about 15/20 minutes. We chose the unfinished swing as we would prefer a painted finish rather than stained, so will be painting soon. With the money we saved on the staining, we chose to purchase the hanging hardware. So glad we did as this swing is sturdy and needs some strong hardware. We will be enjoying this for a long time. Must buy.

I have several two/person swing sets, both wood and metal. I needed one more, and I looked for several days online to find exactly what I wanted, and this was it. This is not a light duty swing. The wood slats are thick enough, and the chains are attached correctly and strong enough to not cause any worries about anything popping loose and dumping you on the floor. The arm/mounted cup holders were the final selling point for me. Functional.
We are very pleased with the look, sturdiness and comfort of this Heavy Duty porch swing. The assembly was fairly quick, even with only one person. We have a 10 ceiling and were concerned we wouldnt have enough chain; fortunately, we had some heavy duty springs that are about 9 long, which actually allowed a couple of extra lengths of chain remaining. I highly recommend putting good heavy duty springs on the swing as it makes it significantly more comfortable and enjoyable. Does its job!.
My brother/in/law put this up in about an hour its comfortable I had to buy Spring sport and a few other things to make it work but the chains are sturdy and the hardware is reasonably good there are coffee mug holders It is alright.
The ceiling above my deck is made of 2x4 trusses. Before I got started, I sistered another 2x4 for added support. We used 4 long 1/2 diameter lag bolts to hold up the swing. The swing was easy to assemble and very sturdy. No regrets. Its my happy place! Easy and strong.
