    Instructions are difficult

The instructions look like they may be easy enough until you start to actually assemble. My husband and I are both DIYers but it took both of us all afternoon and some disassembling and reassembling. It is exactly what he was looking for to sit next to his chair and hold his laptop and it looks nice in our living room. Quality leaves a lot to desire but it does the job, looks nice and was affordable so we are pleased.

    Beautiful

I put it together no problem. Only complaint is the underside of the wood pieces. They are an ugly rusty red and do not match at all with the white bars and wood finish.

    Assembles easily

Once I figured out what side was what for each piece, it assembled easily. This is a great addition for computer use.

    Abysmal assembly instructions

I have assembled a lot of furniture over the years these instructions are the worst Ive ever seen. I had to attach redo several pieces because the drawings were unclear. Some pieces had numbered stickers on them but on some parts the sticker had fallen off. The metal plastic parts were clearly labeled packed in plastic bags. Well done! On the bottom piece 2 plastic anchors for the caster screws were missing. I had to use a wooden toothpick to stick in the pre/drilled holes to give the screws something to bite into. This worked great is an old carpenter trick for stripped out screw holes. It seems to be very sturdy once I finally got it assembled. Well see how it stands the test of time usage.

    Very sturdy, worth the money.

This thing is STURDY. An electrician fell through my ceiling and landed on this nightstand before hitting the ground. No damage to it at all. I already loved it for its intended use which is super helpful since all of my classes are online now and I dont have an office/desk for my laptop. It was kind of a pain to set up, but I appreciate the work that it took now. Definitely worth the money.

Am sure it is well worth the time/

I got this for my husband as an early Christmas giftdue to an upcoming spine surg and felt he would be able to use it in the living room next to his recliner, to put books, laptop etc on while recuperating for the next 6 months We did not even open the box it was sooo heavy so I know it had good parts inside that would not fall apart once put together. Sent back only because after measuring in the space on both sides of recliner there was not going to be enough room for it no matter where we felt we could place it better to return than to put together and not be able to use. has a great return policy though. Just no live cust service apparently when major issues returning occur! Ended up paying almost 50 to returns something that supposedly Prime has listed with free returns

    Okay but.

The attached photo is the instructions from the manufacturers website. The quality is okay but like others the Q/Type Frame plastic at the bolt has broken from the need to over hand tighten to prevent rotating of the tabletop around the horizontal 7/Pipe member. A rubber/friction surface between the Q/Type and 7/Pipe would reduce the need to crank on the handle. This problem has happened to others. Unfortunately there is no apparent method for contacting the manufacturer about obtaining replacement parts. At this time Im not sure how I will fix this broken part. Another issue is that the vertical portion of the 7/Pipe fits inside the Decorative Cover which creates a space for wobbling of the 7/Pipe and attached tabletop because of the excess play between the 7_Pipe and 28.2 cm Circular Tube. I fixed this problem by wrapping the bottom of the vertical 7/Pipe leg with aluminum tape multiple times to roughly match the thickness of the Decorative Cover thereby providing a tight fit when the tabletop is in a raised position and held with the Rotary Handle. Im also going to add a stainless steel bolt with washers and hex nut through the 7/Pipe vertical leg just above the Decorative Cover to support the tabletop in the raised position without the need to significantly tighten the Rotary Handle to clamp it in place (I keep the tabletop raised instead of raising and lowering frequently). I like the concept but the quality and lack of contact information drops my opinion about this unit design. Luckily I believe I can repair/adjust all/most of these items to meet my specific needs.

    Compact, ready to roll!

Took about 40 mins to assemble. It is sturdier than I expected from other reviews. It rolls really great on hardwood floors, not good on any type of rug area. I recommend if you are looking for a small/portable desk for your laptop
