Was very hesitant to order furniture from , but didnt want to wait the 6+ weeks wait I was being quoted from stores due to pandemic delays. I am pleasantly surprised with my purchase so far.
The couch got here quickly (next day vs the 2 day prime) and It was packaged efficiently. Im on the second floor in an apartment with no elevator and narrow stairs. It was light/compact enough to slide up the steps. I do recommend having another person to help.
Now everyone says the assembly was easy. I dont think this is quite dummy proof but I was able to manage. Everything slides/locks into place. There are no tools needed. Took maybe 40 minutes to build.
Perfect for a small space and can comfortably sit two adults. The couch is very firm when you first get it. Give it about a week or so to break it in, it gets much more comfortable. My only complaint is I wish the couch was deeper. I am 5 ft 4 and can stretch out comfortably but I like a couch I can sink into when I want to nap lol.
Its a stylish and sturdy piece of furniture,!overall I am very satisfied with my purchase so far and recommend this for anyone who needs a sofa for a small space. Needs better support
Its difficult to find a sofa for a small space, but this one fits the bill. It is classic in design and attractive. Pros: It fits the space I had perfectly without looking small. The seats are deep enough that you arent sitting on the edge and three people can sit comfortably. Cons: The color is lighter than I expected, I ordered the beige and it is nearly white, and the fabric can only be cleaned with a damp cloth with cold water. Not very practical for children or pets. It also sits firmer than I like, but I guess its a personal preference. Compared to other sofas Ive looked at, this one is a good choice for the price. very pleasantly surprised
I purchased this after getting rid of my old couches. So far I am loving it. Its a little stiff at first but hopefully it will soften over time. Super easy to assemble! Would definitely buy it again I think this is a good option
I ordered the couch, not the loveseat. I am in love. Its on the smaller side for a couch but it fit just fine. I will probably order the matching loveseat now to complete my she cave. I love the color and the material. LOVE LOVE LOVE
It is fairly comfortable but not real soft. Definitely the right size for an apartment or a small living room. The price was certainly right. Ended up buying the matching lounge chair rocker also for a great price and it is wonderful very very comfortable. But absolutely purchase again This product is pretty decent for the price
Im 55 and 120 lbs. I was able to stretch out comfortable on this couch.
I have the mattress from this brand and was impressed to see how much support the couch had. The height is also comfortable and my feet can comfortably reach the floor which is great.
The color is nice and the overall look of the couch is very clean.
I assembled the couch by myself in about 15 minutes including screwing in the couch legs. and came earlier than expected
Our old beast of a sofa finally bit the dust and we needed a replacement fast. Most furniture outlets had a delivery window of 4/6 weeks, but I needed something in days, so I came to . I looked at many of the sofas on the site, compared reviews, and kept coming back to the Josh sofa. The price was right, so I placed the order.
THE PROS
VERY easy to assemble. One person could probably do it by themselves, but I found it was helpful to have two people
Since its a sofa/in/a/box, it fit easily through our somewhat narrow front door, up our even more narrow interior stairs, and around our sharp and narrow corner at the top.
The design is simple, clean, and elegant. Its pleasing to look at.
The back cushions are nice and plush, and the seat, while a little thin, is comfortable enough for regular use.
THE CONS
The seat depth is very narrow. Im 510, and theres a good six inches from the edge of the seat to the backs of my knees. I constantly feel like Im falling forward and try pushing myself back, but to no avail because theres no more room. This is by far the biggest con, because it takes an otherwise comfortable sofa from being a great everyday piece to being, at best, occasional seating. Its a real shame. I end up wiggling around until Im bent forward at the waist at an acute angle (due to the comfy back cushions) to keep as much of my legs supported as possible, which is not sustainable long term.
The arm height is low. From the top of the eat cushion to the top of the arm its maybe 4. This is more a product of the design and overall aesthetic of the piece, but coupled with the narrow seat depth it makes for an awkward sitting experience; especially, again, if youre tall. My elbow doesnt touch the arm unless I slouch, and when I slouch my legs hang even further over the edge than they already do.
The back is low and comes to my shoulder blades. This is fine for sitting, but if you like lounging in your seat, theres nowhere to put your head.
SUMMARY
A clean, simple piece thats a breeze to assemble, but lacks the comfort of a traditional sofa. A good piece for a guest room, dorm, or game room, but not ideal for a living room with heavy use. Overall you got what you paid for.
