This bed has exceeded my expectations.
Completely solid wood/ I was shocked expecting some pieces to be cheap particle board.
We got this for my 2.5 year old. I was so nervous about a loft bed for his age, but the stairs option has put my nerves completely at ease! And the storage in the stairs is such a bonus. Small/ish but still completely useful! Small blankets, sheets and his pajamas.
Assembly Note: other reviews mentioned the stairs were a pain to put together so my husband and I put the stairs partially together one night and the rest of the bed another day. I think this was a great way to assemble. It wasnt overwhelming and we didnt have to rush anything.
Also, while its not recommended we did use power tools and it went very quickly and easily. And I feel more comfortable with the sturdiness using a drill than just my finger strength and an Allen wrench.
Total between the 2 days it was maybe 2/2.5 hours. And thats with a toddler helping
We purchased a 6 mattress which sits about the bottom/middle of the middle rail (see photos) perfect for my son and for my comfort level that he wont somehow roll out. Im happy with my purchase
I looked for a junior loft bed for my three year old for about 3 months. After reading hundreds of reviews for several beds, I chose this one. It is perfect for his tiny bedroom! It spans almost the entire length of his room at 98 inches long and is a perfect height. My son has enough room underneath for a little fort to house his bookshelf, chair, and basket of stuffies.
I love having the stairs so as to avoid slips off of the ladder. I also love the drawers in the stairs. They arent very big, but they are a decent size to store clothing that he hasnt quite grown into yet.
It is super sturdy too. Both of my boys (ages 3 and 4) love to sit on it and look at books or play with toys.
It took my husband just shy of 4 hours to assemble it mostly by himself (I only assisted with 3 steps). The instructions werent the best, but he was able to figure everything out with minimal complaining.
Overall, I am very happy with this bed! It even came 3 days earlier than expected (which was fantastic because it came on a weekend so we were able to set it up immediately). Pretty comfy for the price
Overall this is a really nice bed. I purchased the bed with the stairs. It was pretty easy to assemble. The only thing I can say is that some of the boards had minor cracks. Quality seems to be good so far
Bought this for our toddler transitioning into her big girl bed. I was pleasantly surprised the quality is as good as it is! Its solid and sturdy, definitely not cheap compressed wood. The stairs were a bit tricky to put together but all in all assembly was easy. We bought a 5 thick memory foam mattress for it and it fits just right, the actual height of the bed is also not too high and has enough extra storage/play space below, love the extra storage in the stairs too! I added battery operated lights underneath to give her a nice cozy glow when she plays or reads her books. Its a hit and shell get a lot of years out of this! Id definitely recommend and would buy again! Well made and comfy!
The size fits my expectation. Not to flimsy nor too bulky. My daughter loves it and she can play underneath, allows her more room to play and store her toys. it is the best product.
This is an extremely sturdy bed. Most of the structural pieces are actual wood. Its sturdy enough for an adult to climb the stairs and get into it. The seller over sold the stair version so they sent us the ladder for free until the stairs came in. They were extremely helpful and quick to correct their error. No complaints, really happy
The bed itself was super easy to put together. I recommend two people though. And the bed it self looks very nice and is very sturdy. The steps with storage on the other hand were not easy to put together multiple parts not lining up. I got it together but there was a bolt in back that would never go in. It will work fine without it and it is super sturdy but assembly for stairs was horrible. I also wish there was a way to cover the bolts or make them white. I totally recommend it
Very happy with this purchase! My 4 year son loves his new bed and navigates the ladder easily. The loft bed set up also works wonderfully for his small bedroom. It creates a great space for toy storage under the sleeping area. simple yet awesome design

Bed great! Stairs pain in butt.

It will work fine without it and it is super sturdy but assembly for stairs was horrible. I also wish there was a way to cover the bolts or make them white. I totally recommend it
