/ the 4 post rods for stacking the beds look cheap, its just wood pegs, not metal rods which is standard at least in the old days it was; this is my main criticism of the bed; I would rather pay more for it to come with metal rods. I added metal brackets to add extra support to all ends of each rail on upper bed and where 4 posts join with lower headboard; this stabilize the bed esp since both my kids want to play at upper bed same time; youre not supposed to have more than 1 child on upper bed; also the brackets provide extra insurance should the rail end part break off from headboard. To be fair, the protective rails of the upper bed and plus the ladder provide further support

overall, great bunk bed, great value, hard to beat. I dont mind paying more if it came with metal rods, and plus prefer thicker rails and thicker posts for the headboards. I added corner foam pieces to prevent head bumps. For the mattress, I use 5 inch thick foam beds.
whatever bed you choose, make sure you want it before ordering, because once you unpack, trying to return can be a nightmare since its so heavy and so many parts. Also check all screws once a month, since they could get loose if kids shake it. Works well.
Bunk Bed with Trundle Twin/Twin Dark Grey, received with a few minor dings to the wood. Acceptable for the price. Fumes were present for several days even with a window open. Definitely have a drill/electric screwdriver for the bed slats. The slats were slightly warped and didnt easily fit the frame. That was the only real frustration with assembly. My two boys (5 9) have been using this bunk bed set for five months (with extra use due to more time at home) and still love it. The bed slats on the bottom bunk had to be reattached once but that was definitely the fault of the warped wood and my assembly efforts. I recommend a 6 or 7 inch mattress for the trundle, not a ton of clearance between th trundle and bottom bunk.
Very pleased! The bed frame is great but the support boards for the mattresses are terrible. Ive only had it for a month and two of them have broken. These are small kids so it doesnt make sense for them to snap. Other than having to replace those boards the bed frame is great.
Solid and basic. Overall the bed has been great! The only negative thing I would say is that the boards that you lay down before you put the mattress on are not super strong and can break easily with too much weight.
Quality products. We looked everywhere for a decently priced bunk bed w/ trundle. We have three boys, all a year and a half apart. This only took a couple of hours to put together. Its sturdy and has a nice finish. My only complaint is that it is very soft, so be careful not to accidentally gouge or scratch it during assembly (like I did!).

If you follow the instruction, you wont have any problem assembling it, I recommend using a drill (If you know how to handle them), with an H4 hex point 4 mm or 5/32 and a Phillips tip screwdriver
Take extra attention when assembling the small stair, for me, the provided screws did not secure it well, so I put some bolts of the same size, see in the picture those are not the ones provided.
Its a shame that I didnt receive the Trundle Twin Bed box which goes on the bottom, somehow the shipping service company lost it, I hope you guys get it complete

Buy support boards.

Not labeled.
Pretty sturdy. Good size. The pieces were not labeled with the numbers like the instruction Manuel, so it was a lot harder to assemble.
