Not a horrible purchase, but not my favorite either. Our twin size mattress doesnt quite fit, about 2 inches of open space at the head (or foot depending on where you put the mattress), and 1 inch on the side. The bolts are also exposed on the sides, so not the best looking. The paint is more of a stain, you can see the wood grains and knots very clearly. The bed also arrived without any hardware, but customer service was great and they offered to give us a credit to buy on our own or to send the hardware. We chose the latter, and it came in a couple days. (I searched Lowes and Home Depot, couldnt find all the right pieces. ) not happy at all
Grandson loves his bed, this bed was easy to assemble by women, I tried to tell my husband what to do and he said go do something else.
When I came back to the room my husband and step son was struggling then my daughter came in and put it together in 15 minutes, talking about a mother being impressed. my husband then said that what I told my son to do and he didnt listen. Just follow the instructions and youll be fine!!

In addition they do not refund and will fight you for 28 days to close the A/Z case needed to get your money back. Shipping extremely slow. So disappointed!
Darker than expected. Paid 29.00 for delivery, and it took a whole month to arrive from order to delivery. That was 2 weeks later than estimate at time of purchase. may be returning
